"Where's my beautiful wife?" Ben shouted.
"She's in our bedroom," Miranda answered.
"Just where I like you." Ben popped his head into the doorway.
"You better stop before the kids hear you."
"Okay, I'll stop" Ben climbed onto the bed. "Baby, I have an idea of what we should do this summer."
"What?" Miranda questioned.
"Let's drive to Disneyworld."
"Disneyworld?!" Miranda said surprised.
"Yep. Me, you, Tuck, Danielle, and B.J are all going to jump in an R.V. and drive to Disneyworld."
"Let me see if I'm hearing this correctly. You want two teens who can't be pleased, and one toddler who can't keep still, on a road trip, in an R.V on a maybe 3-day trip?"
"Our kids are not that bad."
"Okay. Let's go to Disneyworld. And when things go wrong, I will be right there to say 'I told you so.'"
"What a supporting wife I have."
They both chuckled.*DINNER TIME*
"B.J., how was your last day at school?" Miranda asked.
"It was good. We played games, and they gave us candy."
"That's good, buddy. Dani, baby, what about you?" Ben asked.
"Nothing really," Danielle said nonchalantly.
"What's wrong, baby girl?" Miranda asked.
"Nothing. It's just... me and Sam are on a break."
Ben rolled his eyes. He didn't like Sam at all. But Miranda told him that if he showed that he didn't like the boy, she would want him more.
"Why are you on a break?" Tucker inquired.
"He told me today that his dad is making him work at his grandfather's stupid store in Indiana, and he didn't think that a long-distance relationship would work out." You could hear that she was heartbroken in her voice.
"Long-distance. You're just going to be gone for the summer."
Miranda intervened before Ben exploded.
"Dani, we will talk about this later. Just the two of us. Would that be okay?"
"Yes, mam."
"Now that we've got that settled, me and your father have something to tell you." Miranda looked at her husband, who was daydreaming about 99 ways to hurt Sam.
"Ben." She quickly called out. Ben snapped out of it.
"Sorry honey. What were you saying?"
"I said," Miranda said with some added sass, "that we have something to tell them."
"Oh, yes! Me and your mother have decided that this summer we are all going to jump into an R.V. and go to Disneyworld."
"Disneyworld?!" B.J. screamed.
"Yes, Disneyworld," Miranda told him.
"Tuck, Dani, aren't you excited?"
"Yeah, sounds cool," Tuck said casually.
Miranda looked at her husband and said, "I told you so."
