Chapter 12

Amber's POV

"It'll start at midnight, I have to keep you." She said but only one word came from my mouth. "No." I said.

"What?" She asked me. "I don't want you to keep me. I want to smell him so I can go to him and then I'll find him." I said.

I know he may be dead, but I feel him alive as I said before.

"No Amber. You can't do this. No one can know that werewolves exist." She said.

"Bye bye." I said and ran as fast as I could-my speed was extremenly high and god, I was way faster than her. I ran outside of Ed's house and waited behind the house.

There's something weird though. I can smell him. I can smell his scent.

It smells like him, cold but like heaven. I stood there until the sun started going down and the moon appeared.

I felt taller, hairy, and stronger. The feeling got me as I transformed into a werewolf.

I then couldn't stop, I broke in the house making the front door smash and ran to where the smell came from; basement.
Before I broke in, I felt myself weak and minimized like I was before. So I opened the door.

Ed was there sitting, his hair messier than before and I coupd see tears falling from his cheeks. But then he turned around to see me.

"Hello." He said. I didn't even talk, the only thing I did was run to hug him.

"Ed, that was so bizarre. Just, thank you. You're alive when I thought you were dead. Oh my god, thank you." I said.

"Thank you too." He said.

"We have to go now, before Matt finds you." He said and threw me on his back so we would escape.

He ran and we reached into our secret place, the school woods. Once we were there he set me down and we both lied down in our backs.

"I've missed you." He said. "I missed you too." I said and he kissed me on the nose once more.

"You're amazing, you know that right?" He asked me. "Well, I knew you are but thanks." I said and we both smiled. We turned to the sky and stared at the stars.

"They're beautiful." I said. "Just like you." He said and I giggled.

"You know, someday, I wish that I could fly into the stars, into the moon." I said and he laughed a bit.

"Really?" He asked me. Just then I regretted it.

"I knew you would make fun of it." I said. I felt a hand in my cheek. It was Ed turning me to his side.

"I didn't. I laughed because I've never heard a dream like that." He said and I giggled.

"And because I can't believe I'm that lucky." He said. "About what?" I asked him whispering.

"About you. I can't believe I'm that lucky to stargaze with a wonderful girl, I can't believe I'm that lucky to have you." He said.

"So that's why I'm going to ask you." He said and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Amber Jones, will you my valentine?" He asked me and I froze with a smile.

"Yes."
