one chilly sunday, anushree sat on her bed, waiting for her two mental friends to arrive. The trio had decided to have a group study even when they knew that they'll end up doing everything other than studying.
The door bell rang, indicating their arrival causing anushree to sprint downstairs and open the door.
"hey." anushree grinned, moving aside to let them in.
The two girls greeted anushree's mom who brought some snacks for them. Done with greetings and snacks, the girls hurried upstairs.
"so what do you want to study today?" anushree asked, keeping all her books on the bed.
"maths, can you please explain me permutations and combinations?" anshika asked causing sara to throw a look of pure disgust towards anshika.
"i hate maths." sara gagged.
"why did you even take physics, chemistry and maths then? Must have taken bio." anushree rolled her eyes, taking out her rough notebook.
"because i don't like bio either." sara shrugged causing the other two girls to roll their eyes.
Anushree sat on her bed, besides anshika explaining her about the chapter and how to solve the problems while sara looked around the room. That's when her eyes fell on anushree's phone which was plugged in the charger.
Getting off the bed, sara pulled the phone out of the charger and started going through anushree's whats app messages.
"hey bhagvan(oh god)!" sara squealed causing the other two girls to look at him with pure confusion,"anushree has been talking to Aryan!"
"what?" anshika yelled, running to sara and completely forgetting about math.
"look at this." sara laughed, shoving the phone into anshika's face.
"are you guys crazy? What's the big deal?" anushree frowned, walking upto them.
"shut up, let us read." anshika said, not taking her eyes off the phone.
Sighing, anushree plopped on her bed, mentally cursing herself for inviting them over.
"bloody hell!!!" sara screamed causing anushree to shot her a 'mom-is-downstairs' look.
"he just messaged you!" anshika giggled.
Anushree ran up to them, yanking the phone away from Sara's grip.
Aryan
Hey, would you like to come over at utsav club? We can play badminton? At 5?"say yes!!" sara screamed in anushree's ears.
"yes please anushree." anshika begged.
Anushree
Yes and I'm bringing two mental patients with me. Hope you don't mind.Aryan
Sara and anshika?Anushree
Oh smart, guessed them right!Aryan
Haha, see youAnushree
Yes see you 😊
"happy?" anushree scoffed.
"yess!" sara and anshika chorused, giving each other a high five.
The girls waited till it was five. When the clock struck five, the girls sprinted downstairs and informed anushree's mom.
After having the permission, anushree handed a badminton to each one of the girls and opened the door to let them out. The utsav club was just a block away from anushree's house.
Laughing and chatting, the girls reached the utsav club but they couldn't find aryan anywhere.
"wow, he's late." sara huffed, sitting on one of the chairs.
The girls waited and when aryan finally arrived, sara and anshika giggled at his outfit. He was wearing a black, long sleeved shirt whose sleeves were rolled up and had matched it with black trousers.
Anushree gave him a small smile not sure what to say.
"hey Anushree." someone said from behind aryan and that's when the girls noticed aryan's best friend, karan.
"hi karan." Anushree smiled, walking up to him.
Anushree and karan got busy in a conversation about school while sara and anshika kept on teasing aryan.
"black shirt hmm?" sara smirked,"wore it to impress Anushree huh?"
"no shut up." aryan laughed awkwardly,"i went to a party and i came here without changing my outfit."
"wonder why didn't you change your outfit?" anshika laughed.
"because i was running late okay!" aryan said, trying to hide his smile.
"yes sure." sara teased.
