the valentine's week finally came to an end.
anushree muffled a yawn and walked inside her classroom. the whole night she was thinking about the possible reasons aryan gave her a chocolate. am i that oblivious? she asked herself.
she sat down on her bench and kept her head down on, closing her eyes.
"hi."
she opened her eyes quickly to find aryan standing near her bench. he was the last person she wanted to see at that moment.
"hey." anushree said, trying to sound cheerful.
"are you okay?" he asked, sitting on the bench in front of anushree's.
"yes." nodded anushree, putting up a small smile.
at that moment, ashutosh walked inside dropping his bag on the bench where aryan was sitting.
"oh can't you guys stay away from each other for a moment?" ashutosh smirked slightly causing anushree to glare at him.
"just because anshika stays away from you doesn't means that it happens with everybody." aryan scoffed.
"ohhhhhhhh." ashutosh chuckled slightly. aryan got up from the bench and walked outside, leaving a confused anshika behind.
"listen to me here you idiot!" anushree glared at ashutosh who turned to look at her,"you knew that he was going to gift me a chocolate right? why didn't you stop him?"
"why should i have even stopped him? that was so sweet of him to gift a chocolate to someone like you." ashutosh joked.
"shut up." anushree rolled her eyes, slamming her head back on the desk.
"what's wrong with you?" he frowned, finally sitting down on his bench.
"i just feel like things got awkward between us." anushree muttered, still not moving her head up,"i mean i don't understand what's going on with him."
"he likes you anushree. It's as simple as that." ashutosh said.
"how do you know?" anushree frowned, lifting her head up to look at ashutosh.
"it's so obvious anushree. also he told me okay." ashutosh scoffed at his friend's silliness.
"but why?" anushree frowned, feeling stupid for asking such an idiotic question,"i mean. . . i don't know. . . what does he even sees me? i hate this. i want us to be normal not awkward."
"talk with him then. sort the things out." ashy suggested,"he likes you and that's obvious.if you don't then it's fine. he just wants to be your friend.but the question is do you like him?"
"no." anushree lied straight to his face.
"fine. then just talk to him about whatever you want to." ashutosh said earning a nod of approval from anushree.
she was going to sort things out.
a/n: okay this is almost coming to an end-
