anushree rang the doorbell of ashutosh' house as she had promised to study with him. seconds later ashutosh's mother opened the door to let anushree in. after greeting his mother, anushree climbed up stairs and opened the door to ashutosh's room.
she was surprised to find aryan sitting on ashutosh's bed with his book in his lap.
"hi." anushree trailed off, walking inside.
"hi anushree." ashutosh grinned, gesturing her to sit down on the chair.
"hey." aryan piped in, smiling widely.
anushree nodded as a response.
"you didn't tell me that aryan was coming." anushree spoke up.
"i forgot." ashutosh muttered.
anushree shrugged, pulling out her math copy to do the sums. she struggled with the copy as it was difficult to write while sitting on a chair.
"you can sit here." ashutosh said, patting the place next to him.
nodding, anushree walked up to the bed and sat in between ashutosh and aryan.
"whose notebook is it?" anushree questioned when she noticed someone's handwriting in the notebook used by ashutosh. anushree immediately recognized the handwriting.
"mine." ashutosh laughed nervously.
"liar." anushree accused, snatching the notebook from his grip.
"anshika?!!" anushree gasped, reading the name slip,"why is her notebook with you?"
aryan stifled back a laugh while ashutosh glared at him."he's completing her work." aryan answered.
"what!" anushree laughed, smirking at ashutosh.
"no, stop lying aryan." ashutosh frowned.
"I'm not lying." aryan sang, returning back to his book.
"now you'll have to do mine too." anushree smirked, passing her notebook to ashutosh who refused to take it.
"do your work on your own."
"ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." anushree tried to look offended,"you should have said the same to anshika, don't you think?"
"okay shut up." ashutosh rolled his eyes,"I'm not doing yours. I have to complete hers."
"do mine!" anushree ordered, keeping her notebook in ashutosh's lap.
"no!"
"please!"
"noooo!!
" please!! "
"i can do yours if you want." aryan interrupted causing ashutosh to smile in relief.
"uh no it's fine." anushree smiled, continuing her work.
ashutosh smirked and fake coughed.
two hours passed by and the three youngsters decided to take a walk around.
"i want to eat samosa!" ashutosh declared, pulling his friends to a sweets shop.
"if you are paying then sure." anushree grinned.
"look, I come from a very poor family-"
"that card won't work on us ashutosh." aryan grinned mischievously,"you're paying."
"oh so it's two against one?" ashutosh scoffed causing aryan and anushree to laugh at how annoyed he look.
anushree glanced at aryan who was still smiling at ashutosh. he was almost her best friend now.
"so something going on between you and anshika?" anushree questioned as the three of tjem waited for the samosa to arrive.
"no." ashutosh lied and tried hard not to blush and make it obvious.
"oh are you blushing now?" aryan teased.
"remind me to never ever hang out with you two." ashutosh groaned.
"come on, we are a great company." aryan boasted.
"for each other yes." now it was ashutosh's turn to smirk.
"let's end the discussion please." anushree laughed awkwardly.
