Yknow, after nearly two days of wandering, forests get pretty dull. Especially when you're alone.

Skeppy learned this the hard way after the little twink had dragged him, Vincent, and Dream out nearly 20 miles into the forest and then chased them down with a pack of goddamn hogs, making him lose track of where he was and what little sense of direction he had in the first place. Not to mention that he had lost his companions along the way, and that mobs could appear any moment.

Plus, his sword was gonna break!! As if it couldn't get worse!!

Maybe he should have stayed behind with that cute baker damnit.

Well, there was no time to dwell on the past, so Skeppy just patted his cheeks, brown locks hardening into their crystal state. Almost all members of the royal guard were hybrids of some sort, and Skeppy was no exception. He could harden his body into the teal precious stone known as diamond on command. His hair was naturally spiky and fluffy, so when he hardened it, it got rather- dangerous.

But he couldn't sharpen himself at any point, he still felt pain y'know. He could move like a normal being, but he could also feel after a certain amount of pressure was put on him. On the plus side, he'd never get Ender's Curse, or be affected by potions or zombie bites. He wasn't invincible, but he did get some pretty cool perks.

Wandering almost aimlessly through the thick foliage, it was only when Skeppy noticed the leaves thinning that he got excited. Thinning of branches and leaves meant people, and people meant pathways! A road!

"Sssss...."

The plus of being part diamond meant that he had pretty good explosion resistance. He wasn't knocked back too far, but far enough to break the edge of the forestry and slam his back into the ground, knocking the air out of his lungs.

Struggling to gather his breath again, he lay helpless in the middle of the path in the forest, staring up at the sun filtering through the leaves. His body refused to move, fear running through his body with adrenaline. Nothing was working in his body, he couldn't breath, couldn't blink-

"Oh my goodness, are you ok?!"

And suddenly his air came back.

"Y-Your Majesty!" Niki rushed out front, quickly tugging the little boy behind her, eyes wide in mild fear. "I-I apologize for Tubbo, hes young-"

"Its ok, girl. No offense was done." Schlatts voice was harsh, but it was undertoned with a silk smooth nature. A pleaser tone. It made Niki want to shrivel and cower.

Tubbo, however, peered out from behind the woman. His light blue eyes met Schlatts piercing amber ones, and for a moment, they were on their own land. Schlatts mouth opened a little, almost in shock. Nikis arm tensed in front of Tubbo, someone she thought of like a little brother, protecting him.

Before suddenly, Schlatt's smile curled up on his lips, reaching out his three-fingered hand towards the child.

"You have alot of potential my boy. I want you to be my right hand man."

The silence was deafening.

Niki felt her jaw drop in shock. Schlatt had just came and just met Tubbo!! What was he smoking to want a skinny 17 year old child with an affinity for bees?!

Tubbo, on the other hand, pricked at the opportunity. He saw it as a chance to help Tommy. He could set things right, be an inside man. Could he handle it, though..?

"C-can... can I think about it..? Sir?" Tubbos meek voice echoed from the folds of Nikis overalls, shocking the woman into stunned silence.

"Call me Schlatt, boy. And sure. You have till tomorrow." Schlatt smirked, smug in his success.

He'd found his little boy again.

Turning on his heel, signelling to Quackity, they both left, Quackity pulling a rude expression as they left, cackling as well.

Deafening silence fell over the shop as the events began to unfold themselves in both Tubbo's and Niki's head, shock in the quickness of the events settling in as they both struggled to gather their senses again, Schlatts presence had shook them both to their core.

"...Tubbo."

The moobloom boy froze, cold shivers trailing up his spine at Nikis tone. Oh god.

"What. Are. You. THINKING?"

Cowering in fear of the wrath of Niki, Tubbo squealed and ran to the back of the shop, a furious Niki on his little fluffy tail as he rushed down the hatch to Wilbur and Tommy's place of residence in the ravine, ducked behind the blonde in a fit of fear. Tommy jumped at the intrusion, instinctively snagging his iron sword to protect the smaller only to find the threat to be a very, very, angry Niki.

Both of the boys glanced at each other, gulping in fear. Even Wilbur, who had just been watching everything go down, shivered in absolute fear.

Tiny people are terrifying when their angry.

"Geor- 404!! Get behind me, he's here!" Sapnap exclaimed as he dragged the brunette behind him. His black-brown hair swished in the gaining light, sword glinting as he pointed it straight at Dreams throat. Bile rose in his throat as he desperately fought memories of a terrifying white mask standing over a figure that was his friend. That was Clay.

Blinded by rage, Sapnap nearly went to kill as Dream began to speak, but his sight was cleared when George, grasped his forearm, stopping him.

"Stop it Sapnap." His british accent shown in his tired state, but he remained firm, glaring at Dream as well through his goggles. "Both of you. Stand down."

Dream, of course, had no qualms about shutting the chest and backing away from Sapnap, but it took a bit more of a glare from George for the thief to lower his weapon.

George let out a rough breath of relief, shoulders relaxing. Dear god its like running around two children.

"Now. Sapnap, before you ask-" He interrupted the taller before he could even speak. "Yes, I am aware of who he is. And as to why hes here, I owe him, one, and two, I want closure."

"And you, Dream." The cloaked figure immediately froze, lowering his head like a scolded puppy as George turned his stern gaze to him.

"..yeah?"

George let out a sigh. "If you wanted to know what was in the chest, you could have just asked. And two, this is Sapnap, and you know I am George, but my alibi is 404. Im a retired thief from an old band of bandits. But- "

So thats why the name sounded so familiar.

"George, you dumbass!! Why would you-" Sapnap exclaimed at Georges calm face, only to be silenced again when he turned towards the bandana-adorned man. "I-i mean- sorry." His voice softened, looking at the ground.

"As I was saying. Dream, now that you know my background and that I know Sapnap, though, I cannot let you go back to the King."
