The next day Callie and Mila were on their way to school, Mila still felt affected by the whole talk she had with her sister. She couldn't sleep last night trying to think if it would be a good idea to meet her dad. Would her dad love to see her? Or just not care and not want her in his life?

On the way to school, there was an awkward silence and Callie decided to break that silence.

"So how did you sleep last night?" she said trying to start a conversation.

"I guess not well I couldn't stop thinking about meeting my dad and how he would react. I'm scared Callie what if he doesn't want to meet his daughter or what if I see my mom and she still hates me and doesn't want to see me?" she said asking so many questions that she could barely breathe her anxiety started to kick in.

"Hey, hey Mila calm down your dad doesn't know you're alive he's probably still heartbroken still thinking he lost and he never got to meet his daughter. You got to calm down If I were you I would like to my dad that I never got to meet because if you don't you might regret it one day" she said trying to convince her.

"Thank you, I don't know what I would do without you" Mila says feeling so comforted with her sister's advice.

"Hey, and can I give you one more piece of advice try to get into a sport I don't maybe cheerleading you use to love that when you were a kid. Try to be a bit more extroverted and talk to some people" Callie says wanting to see her sister happy.

After they both had a talk on the way to school, they got there the bell rung and they went their separate ways to class since they were running late. Mila didn't know where to go because she still hadn't gotten her schedule so she was trying to find the office, but she was so distracted to find the principal's office that she bumped into someone and she fell to the ground. She noticed the person dropped their books and she tried to help but they both bumped their heads, she was so embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry I was distracted and didn't see where I was going" she says still trying to help them pick up their books. She looked and saw the person it was a guy with dark brown eyes and with dark brown hair she saw him he had a sweater that had the school logo she thought he was cute.

"No, no I'm sorry I didn't look where I was going. Are you new here? since I haven't seen you around here before" he says with a warm smile.

"Yes I'm new I was supposed to be here a week ago but I had an accident so yea I'm a bit late" she says a bit shy while tucking a strand of her behind her ear.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, my name is Peter Parker I just became a junior" he says stretching his hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you, Peter Parker, I'm Mila Jones and I just became a junior too I'm slightly nervous" she says giving her hand for that handshake.

"You seemed lost, where were you trying to go? If I may ask?" he says trying to help her around since she's new.

"Oh yeah, I'm trying to find the principal's office to pick up my schedule and go to class...late" she says a bit annoyed because she doesn't like being late to class.

"Sure, no problem if you would like I can walk you there? If I may" he says a bit shy.

"I would love that, thank you Peter" she says smiling at him and he looks at her slightly blushing.

On the way to the principles office, they both talk and try to get to know each other. They finally get to the office and he says,

"Here you go, I hope to see you around I should get going to chemistry class, see you Mila" barely waving her and he starts walking away.

She stares at him a minute and opens the door and goes inside. She speaks to the lady at the desk and they give her her schedule and sees that she has chemistry class as her first class before lunch. She tries to find her chemistry class and on her way to class she remembers what her sister said about being in a sport and she's thinking about doing it and getting out of her shell. So she decides to ask about the cheerleading team after school, in the meanwhile, she finds her class and goes in the teacher notices and looks at her strangely because she doesn't recognize her.

"Are you new miss?" he says looking her up and down.

"Yes, sir I'm Mila Jones" she says handing him her schedule so he could check it make sure she's in the right class.

"Okay nice to meet you, Ms. Jones I'm Mr.Robinson, let me see where could you sit next to...okay Ms.Jones sit next to Mr.Parker wave your hand so she knows who you are" he says assigning her a seat for the rest of the year.

Mila walks and sits next to Peter shes so surprised that she got a class with him and gets to sit next to him.

"Hey Peter, it seems you have a new lab partner" she says looking at him shy and they both start giggling a little bit. Mr. Robinson hears them and he gets annoyed and says

"Ms. Jones I don't know if you know my rules but there's no talking while I'm giving class, I wouldn't like to give you detention on your first day of school and Mr.Parker you know the rules very well no talking, thank" after he says he turns around to write more stuff on the chalkboard and Mila and Peter they're looking down and they get a bit embarrassed while they are both smiling and blushing at the same time.
