If there is one thing I hate most in this world, it is boys. They are mean and annoying and whiny and always think they are better than you.

I had never met a nice boy before. My father isn't that nice, him and my mom fight a lot so I had to leave with my grandma to England for the summer because I just can't stand him.

My little brother Liam was a good boy, but god he never took any showers, and all the boys who went to my high school had their heads so far up their asses that they couldn't see anything.

In general, guys just suck.

Though, I was playing Rust and started talking to a boy and his friends. His name was Tubbo, and he was telling me all about England since I didn't really know much, I was very American after all, I probably offended everyone in England already just by breathing.

Though, he was patient with me, and honestly taught me a lot, and then I found out he was streaming-

He was very famous on Twitch..and I went silent over the voice chat.

"May are you gonna join us?"
He asked.

"A-Actually Tubbo..I need to get off for tonight..Grammy is gonna throw a fit if I stay up all night on a game."
I make up an excuse.

"Oh alright! I won't hold ya up then! Sleep well!"
He had a sweet smile on his face over the stream I was secretly watching him from, and I felt a butterfly in my stomach fly around as I wished him a good night too, quickly leaving the game and turning off my computer.

I focused in on Tubbo on my phone.

"She was so sweet, I hope I get to play with her again."
He spoke softly.

"Oi don't be fallin in love with a girl over a game, her character was ugly."
I heard an annoying prepubescent boys voice speak after him and my smile turned into a straight line.

"She didn't make the game Tommy, it isn't her fault the character designs in this game are a bit messy."
Tubbo defended me.

"Tubbo does have a point. Tommy what's with you always shittin on women? Is it because you have never been successful with them?"

"Wilbur!"
Tommy exclaimed.
"I have had luck with women, but they are just so needy and annoying."

"I think you are just describing yourself there buddy."
Wilbur said with a chuckle after,

Tubbo busted out laughing. I was mesmerized by his cute features on his facecam and decided to follow him.

After watching the rest of his stream I decided to turn in for the night, staring at the ceiling, Tubbo's face appeared in a dream like state. I wonder if while I am here, we could meet and become friends. He wasn't like the boys back in America. He was actually polite. I liked that.

"May, get ready please, we need to go meet a friend of mine at lunch."

"Yes Grammy."
I called back to my grandma down the steps and quickly got dressed in a white sundress, slipping on some sandals, and making my way down the steps.

My grandmother smiled sweetly at me, her eyes wrinkled up at the end as she looked over my attire.
"I was blessed with such a beautiful granddaughter."

"Thank you Grammy. So who are we meeting?"
I smiled back at her, taking her bag and walking ahead of her to the car.

"An old friend of mine and her daughter. I believe her son and his friend are coming as well."

"How old are they?"
I glance back at her a bit nervous.

"Your age."
She chuckled a bot at my distress, slipping into the driver's seat.
"You need make some friends up here if you want to survive the summer sweetheart."

"But-"

"No buts dear, you can't play video games all summer, so being friends with them could get you out of the house! There is a lot to see in Brighton."

I go silent, my heart raced as we approached the destination. I didn't know how to feel. I know my grandma wants me to have fun and get out of the house- but with two teenaged boys?

"We are here."
She looked over to me.
"Oh calm down. They are nice."

"If you say so.."
I sigh, slipping out of the passenger seat and walking with my grandma to the front of the cafe-

The boy from last night-

"Hi and you must be May! This is my boy Tubbo and his best friend Tommy."
A woman stepped in front of me, a sweet smile on her lips as she patted my head.
"You are so beautiful! You look just like your mother. You know, your mother and I used to play together when we were young, you may not have known she lived here for a good amount of time before leaving to America with her father."

"N-No I didn't know that.."
I get flustered, glancing down at my feet.

"You are so adorable. You boys be nice to May and show her around while I catch up with Old Miss Greenwell okay?"
The woman looked to the two boys who nod respectfully, then she walks off with my grandma and her mother, leaving me with them.

"Hey it's nice to meet you May. I'm Tubbo."
The brown haired boy spoke first, smiling at me as he held out his hand,

"Woah this is weird cuz we met a May from America last night on Rust!"
The blonde boy exclaimed.

I hesitate, but take Tubbo's hand and shake it.
"Nice to meet you..in person Tubbo."

"Woah! This is crazy chance!"
He smiled excitedly, shaking my hand firmly and looking me over.

"She doesn't look ugly at all-"
Tommy spoke without hesitation.

"Tommy shut up."
Tubbo hissed up at him.

I cross my arms and examine Tommy.
"I knew you would be a blonde."

"Excuse me?!"
Tommy exclaimed, pointing down at me and tugging on Tubbo's sleeve.
"Don't let her talk to me this way! You can't simp for such a rude girl!"

"Tommy!"
Tubbo busted out laughing, brushing off Tommy's grip on his sleeve and offering me a hand.
"I think we will make great friends May. You down to come to the park with us?"

I take his hand, both of us disregarding Tommy's whining, and I nod-
"Of course."

Maybe my time in England with two boys my age won't be so bad.
