It was Christmas Eve and Tubbo, Tommy, Wilbur, and I went to go see a Christmas tree lighting.

Tubbo hugged me around my shoulders from behind to keep warm and Tommy sipped on some hot chocolate, complaining to us all about how many women keep texting him 24/7.

"And- And they're all American. That's just bad."

"Tommy."
I glare over at him and he starts laughing.

"See! American women are just so aggressive. Oi Wilbur, I'm right aren't I?"
Tommy nudged Wilbur's shoulder.

"No Tommy I think you're just an instigator."
Wilbur smiled.

"Thank you- Wait! Hey!"
Tommy screamed,

I rolled my eyes and looked to Tubbo's head laid on my left shoulder, kissing his forehead.
"You're so sleepy."

"Mhmm."
He yawned,
"I should have taken a nap, and I would have if I knew it was gonna light at exactly 12.."

I giggle, ruffling his hair.
"There is just five more minutes until the tree lights love, open your eyes."
I spoke sweetly.

He did as I wished, hugging me tighter and yawning a final time, batting his sleepy eyes at the world around us.

"Look who is finally up."
Wilbur teased.

"Man you should have slept before!"
Tommy exclaimed.

"I just explained this.."

"Well it wasn't to us sooo-"
Tommy smirked boyishly.
"Explain again dimwit!"

"Go kiss a woman."
Tubbo retorted.

"Ew."
He made a fake puking sound.
"I'm a strong independent man, I don't need no woman."

"Maybe you do. She could teach you some manors."
I joked, reaching up and flicking Tommy's forehead.
"Leave Tubbo be he is tired and has been working really hard lately."

Tubbo squeezed me, burrowing his head in my shoulder.

"Simp."
Tommy spat.

"Bitch."
I growl.

"What?! Tubbo did you just hear her?! She just called me a bitch! Wilbur! You're an adult! Scold her!"
Tommy screamed.

"Tommy you swear like a sailor, who would I be to confront May but not-"

"Ten! Nine! Eight-!"
People started to count down for the tree to light and we all turned our attention up to the tree.

"Five! Four! Three!"

Tubbo moved to stand next to me, a hand laid on my right cheek and as the tree lit, he leaned down and kissed me.

It was officially Christmas!

---

We went back to Wilbur's house, Tubbo and I cuddled on his couch while Tommy and Wilbur played a weird racing game on the TV.

I watched for a bit, petting Tubbo's head laid on my chest, I was wearing one of his shirts that was surprisingly too big for me.

"Are you asleep?"
I whisper to him, and he didn't respond so I assumed he had fallen fast asleep like he almost did on the ride back to Wilbur's.

"He is knocked."
Wilbur had stood up and walked around the back of the house to look down at Tubbo's face.
"You comfortable with him crushing you or did you want me to carry him upstairs?"

"He is alright here. Thank you Wilbur."

"No problem. Imma go get a drink, I would offer y'all something but, you can't drink alcohol."

"You could still bring me a soda!"
Tommy raised his hand.

"I don't have soda in my home right now. Only alcohol. Also, I need y'all to get out of my house by 8:30am tomorrow, my family is coming over."

"We have to walk?"
Tommy whined.

"Walk or get up at 6:30am so I can drive y'all back to Tubbo's."

"Walk."
Tommy and I said in sync.

"That's what I thought."
And Wilbur went to begin his happy hour.

Tommy turned the TV off and laid on the floor next to the couch Tubbo and I were on, I pulled a blanket from the back of the couch and tossed it on him.

"Goodnight Tommy."

"Night May."

And with that, I pulled Tubbo's hood over his head to keep his ears warm, and stroked his back as I drifted to sleep as well.

...

"Up and out of the house quick!"
We were waken by Wilbur hoisting Tubbo off of me and kicking Tommy up from the floor.
"I overslept! They will be here any-!"

The doorbell rung-

"Run out the back! My parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles are insane and y'all wouldn't get to leave! Run!"

He rushed us to the back and as he went to open the front door we started running down the block until we were far enough from his house, catching our breaths.

"What the hell..imma kill him for that one later.."
Tommy coughed.

"May! You must be cold! You left your jacket there!"
Tubbo started freaking out, taking his hoodie off and throwing it at me.

I just put it on rather than arguing that he would be cold now too.

"Let's just get back to Tubbo's house and we can sent Wilbur aggressive messages later."
I joked, taking Tubbo's hand and Tommy's sleeve and pulling them the direction Tubbo lives in.

When we got there, Tubbo and Tommy's families were there along with my Grammy.
"Merry Christmas Kids!"
The adults yelled.

"What is this-?"
Tommy looked embarrassed and grumpy as he stomped in.

"Thank you guys!"
I smile at them and give them all love, hugging everyone and chatting, Tubbo thanked them too, also embarrassed, sticking close to me.

"May darling we got you a couple special things, we were unsure what size you were so we just winged it but we got you lots of clothes, and a few video games you could play with the boys. Oh! And a vlog camera!"
Tubbo's mother looked at me excitedly.

"You didn't have to.."
I blush, my eyes starting to get watery.
"Thank you guys I don't know what I did to deserve your affections.."
I wipe my eyes and cheeks as tears fell.

Tubbo hugged me into him,
"You deserve the world May."

"Tubbo.."
I hugged him back.

"Ew."
Tommy gagged.

The room erupted into laughter and once I pulled myself together we all proceeded to exchange and open gifts,

"Merry Christmas May."

"Merry Christmas Tubbo."
