"Put your hands up May!"
Tommy pointed a small nerf gun at me as he busted into my room,

I yelped, covering my head with a blanket in surprise.

"Ah May I'm sorry we scared you!"
Tubbo's voice of regret came and I peeked from under the blanket at the two boys who approached me cautiously.
"Your Grandma let us in..you are dressed right?"
His cheeks were pink as he looked at my eyes under the blanket.

"Yes I am dressed..b-but why did y'all come in so abruptly? Tommy gave me a heart attack!"
I hiss, sitting up and letting the blanket fall from my head onto my shoulders.

"I'm the bad cop and Tubbo is Big Law!"
Tommy smirked, his braces showing.

"And why am I under arrest..?"
I furrow my brow at the two.

"W-Well.."
Tommy tried to think of a reason.

"You are a prime suspect. We are gathering evidence to convict you of stealing someone's heart!"
Tubbo pointed his finger at me.

I growl, it was seven in the morning and I normally slept until ten so I was not in the mood for boys games.

"I didn't steal anyone's heart Big Law."
I grumble, laying back down and covering my head with the blanket.

I had spend a good few weeks with the two boys, and we were quite comfortable with each other now. They would just walk right in whenever they wanted, I even had to learn to lock my door when I changed which was a bother.

"You did and we need you to come with us."
I could tell Tommy had his arms crossed about his chest, the time he spoke gave all the clues.

"Do you two know what time it is?"
I spoke coldly.

"Well it is 8am now. Come on May please get up and play with us! This is important! You only have a month left with usssss!"
Tubbo whined, gently shaking my shoulder.

"A month is a long time Tubbo."
I reply.

"No.."
He whimpered,
"Please.."

I groan, sitting up again and looking at his face closely. His eyes were sad and I squirm a little before resting my hands on his shoulders and pushing him back so I can stand in front of him.

"Is this a yes?"
Tommy muttered.

"I guess Tommy. Now boy of you get out so I can change..I'll be down in a few minutes."
I wave them out and they follow my instructions. I shut and lock the door and then walk to my closet.

I pulled in a plain red hoodie and some baggy dark blue ripped jeans. I also tied my hair up in a messy bun and put on some black converse, then I went downstairs to the boys who waited by the door.

They were in suits, I didn't really notice this before now, and I felt a bit embarrassed that they were taking something like this so seriously.

"And so, the case of the stolen heart- BEGINS!"
Tubbo announced to literally no one but Tommy and I and my lips straightened into a line as I looked at him like he was an idiot.

"Why are we playing a game like this?"

"Because you stole someone's heart! We just need to find the victim and evidence that either you did it or someone else!"
Tommy handed Tubbo a cookie from a bag in his pocket.
"Grammy made us cookies while you were asleep."

"Why are you calling my Grandma Grammy.."
I grumble, still too tired to deal with the two of them together.

"You call her Grammy"
Tommy bit into a cookie.
"Want one?"

"No. Can we start this stupid investigation now so I can prove I wasn't the one who stole someone's heart so I can go back to sleep?"
I push past him, dragging Tubbo by his green tie.

"Hey let go of Big Law right now wench!"
Tommy took my arm.

"What did you just call me?"
I pulled my arm from his hand and whipped around to face him, my eyes narrow.

"W-Wait!"
He screeched.

"May-"
Tubbo hugged his arms around my waist and pulled my back into his chest. As per usual before I murder his best friend-
"Tommy watch your mouth. Now let's start our investigation. I believe it all started at that cafe. The one we all met at. So let's go there first."
Tubbo let go of my waist but held onto my hand as we began to walk to the first crime scene.

It was all really weird, investigating something that never happened, but boys will be boys..and so I went along with it.

---

"Tubbo I searched around and it seems as though the suspect and the victim had left this area and moved to a more secluded spot."
Tommy reported to Tubbo.

I just sat at a table watching them. I could be in bed right now..

"A Park maybe?"
Tubbo looked down at me.
"Well let's get going to the park. There is nothing here."

I slowly got up and followed the two boys to the park with sand rather than wood chips.

At the park they examined the monkey bars, and the sand below, Tubbo picking up a munch of sand in his fingers and looking to Tommy, realizing something.

"They were here! And it seems as though some of your DNA was left here May. Amateur move."

"I didn't steal anyone's heart."
I growl.
"And I'm so confused, how could you tell all of this from a few grains of sand?"

"Cuz he is Big Law!"
Tommy exclaimed.

"I'm about to Big Law you in a second if you keep up blondie."
I spoke lowly, and Tommy looked a bit on edge as he looked at me.

"We can continue this case after lunch okay?"
Tubbo spoke.
"For now, this case rests."

I might have to kill "Big Law" and String-bean.
