'We're registering as Team Lunar.' Akira told Nurse Joy.
'Alright. Please place your Pokédexes in the four slots here.' Nurse Joy said, pointing to a black device with 4 slots.
Akira clicked a button on his watch, as the watch morphed into a Pokédex. Akira placed the Pokédex into the black device, his teammates doing the same thing.
'Team Lunar, registered, Block A.' The computer announced.
'Do you want to have a room near Akira's?' Nurse Joy asked the group. 'Out of you four, only he has registered a room.'
Korrina and Aria nodded.
'U-umm, o-ok.' Allister managed to stutter.
'Alright, here are your room keys.' Nurse Joy said, rummaging through one of the Pokémon Centre drawers. 'Also, team leader, I assume that is you, Akira, take this device. It will help you select the competitor you will send out.'
Nurse Joy handed Korrina, Aria, and Allister their room keys and Akira the device, Allister walking back uncomfortably after he had taken the key.
'Let's go. The tournament begins tomorrow.' Akira told his teammates, as he walked up the stairs of the Pokémon Centre.

Akira, Korrina, Allister, and Aria walked down to the stadium, the many layers held up by stone pillars. Cameras hung all over the place, ready to record the action. At the back of the stadium was a glowing electronic board, and in front of the board was a man.
'Welcome, Teams in Block A, to the stadium for this block, Alpha Stadium.' The man said, gesturing to the electronic board. 'Each day, for six days, a random challenge or competition will be selected on this board. For each challenge, your team must send out one or two members. The first place team in the challenge will obtain 5 points, the second place 3 points, the third place team 2 points, the fourth 1, and the fifth no points.'
Someone in the group of participants raised their hand. 'So, the challengers for each team will send out one or two members per challenge?'
'The amount of members deployed will depend on the challenge. Two challenges will require two members, and four challenges will require only one.' The man continued, answering the person's question. 'Each member of your team must only be sent out twice. At the end of these six days, the team with the highest number of points will advance to the next round.'
The cameras hanging all over the stadium lit up, as the competition started streaming. The man touched the electronic board, as a wheel started turning.
'The first challenge has been decided!' The announcer said. 'To those watching this, the tournament has kicked off! I'm your host, Jacob, and welcome to the Annual Pokémon World Tournament! Here in Block A, we have... Team Lunar! Team Hoenn! Team Trainer! Team Eifelle! And last but not least, also the favourites to win this block, Team Frontier! The challenge has been decided! And we'll kick things off with...'
'Well, I don't care, because I'm gonna win this!' A boy declared arrogantly, his brown hair shining under the bright sun.
'Jake, calm down.' His friend said, an accent evident in his voice.
'Humph, fine.' Jake scoffed.
'Anyways, we'll kick things off with a Pokémon Catching Competition! One trainer from each team will be sent out, and I will explain the challenge once all of the competitors have been chosen! Team leaders, please select the team member you will send out on the device that was given to you at the Pokémon Centre.' Jacob announced.
