I woke up early the next morning excited and full of dread. While I was excited to go back to school I was nervous about not seeing George every day. I did all of my last minute packing and threw on jeans and a sweatshirt. I took a deep breathe and closed my eyes for a second.

"What's wrong?" I felt arms wrap around me.

"Nothing," I gave George a half smile and leaned into him.

"Something is wrong darling I can see it on your face."

"I'm just worried, that's all."

"What about?"

"I'm not going to be in school with you anymore. I'm not going to see you everyday. What if you find some beautiful girl who's out of school and not a total train wreck all the time."

"Emily look at me," he turned my face towards his. "I love you. I'm going to marry you one day."

I got on my tiptoes and kissed him lightly before wrapping my arms around his neck. I breathed in deeply to smell the comforting scent of cranberries and smoke. Even when he wasn't lighting fireworks he always smelled like them.

"I love you too."

I stepped away and grabbed my trunk, George insisted on carrying it for me and wouldn't take no for an answer. Fred was going to open the shop today so he could bring me to the train. Once we got downstairs I poured coffee into a travel mug and sat with everyone at the table. Molly tried to make me eat but I declined politely. The growing doubt and intrusions in my head were taking away any appetite I had left.

As I sat in silence holding George's hand I felt a nudge at my shoulder I turned to look at Ron who had nudged me and he was raising his eyebrows. He may not always be smart but he knew when I wasn't ok. I looked at him and nodded and he went back to eating. I nuzzled into George slightly and he kissed my forehead.

After breakfast we all filed out the door to walk to the train station since it wasn't too far. Once we arrived I felt the dread get heavier on my chest. I turned to George and he placed his hand on the side of my face. He reached into his pocket and grabbed out a folded piece of parchment.

"Don't read it until you get on the train ok?"

I nodded and got on my tiptoes to kiss him. It was a long and passionate kiss and I didn't really care that Molly and everyone else was watching us. I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck and he lifted me off the ground slightly while hugging me, which was impressive due to my curves.

"I'm going to miss you darling but I promise I'll see you soon," he ended that sentence with a wink and when it comes to George that always means mischief.

"I love you George."

"I love you too."

I climbed the steps onto the train and waved once more out the door before going to find a seat. Harry and Hermione sat on one side of the compartment while I took my place next to Ron. I unfolded the letter in my hand and began to read.

"Dear Emily,

This year will be difficult no doubt and so will the next but I have a few tricks up my sleeve to see you. I grew up always feeling less than Fred. He was more social, and he was funnier, and charismatic. Frankly, I didn't think I had a chance with you with Fred around. But I knew I couldn't give up on you. You made me feel something I had never felt before. I know that's cliché but it's true. And somehow you loved me too. Everything, every touch, every look, every word made me fall more in love with you. As time went on I realized you were the girl I wanted to marry. The Molly to my Arthur if you will. No never mind that was too cheesy. Suddenly everything became you. And remember our notebooks I carry mine with me everyday so write me everything. From boring potions class to funny things Ron said at lunch. I am so madly in love you, it's almost as if you're a witch or something. I had to make a joke you know me. Until the next letter, Mrs Weasley.

Love, George."

I felt my eyes sting but I didn't want to cry. Instead I reached into my bag and grabbed my notebook and quill. I opened it to see George was already writing.

"How'd I do?"

"I am so utterly in love with you George Weasley."

"And I am so deeply in love with you Mrs Weasley."
