I couldn't sleep and George wasn't awake so I decided to grab my book and read on the mattress in Ginny's room. It felt like a large rain cloud hung over the burrow after Sirius died, despite that we still had a small party for my birthday. I've spent most of my time with Ron since George is at the joke shop working a lot. We visit him and Fred at work every so often and it makes me so happy to see George working. The way he talks to everyone and walks around fixing displays. He's gotten a lot more confident since opening the joke shop.

The door creaking open breaks me from the thoughts and I see Harry peering in the door. He motions for me to follow him out of the room and I do so quietly.

"Harry why are you awake?"

"I could ask you the same thing. I'm ready."

"Harry I need more than that to have any idea what you're on about."

"The gift from S-Sirius."

That was the first time I had heard him say his name after he died. The quiver in his voice told me it was the first time he's said it to anyone. I nodded and went back into the room. I quietly opened my trunk and grabbed out the box from Sirius. I went back out of the room and Harry and I headed out to the back garden.

"Do you want me to leave?"

"No Emily please stay," he looked scared to be alone.

"Ok I'm right here."

He hesitantly tore the paper on the box. Once he had torn off all the paper he took a deep breath before opening the box. Inside was a picture of Remus, Sirius, James, and Lilly. I assumed the ripped edge was where Peter used to stand.

Under the picture was a dusty Gryffindor quidditch jersey. Harry picked it up and turned it around and on the back it read, 'Potter' with a torn 07 under it. It was his fathers old Jersey. I looked to Harry to see him trying to hold back the tears prickling in his eyes. He held the fabric right to him and stared at the picture. I put my arm around his shoulders gripping him tightly.

"You can cry around me Harry."

The second I said that it was as if a dam broke in his eyes. He buried his head into my shoulder and I brought him into a tight hug.

"It's hard I know but now we have to fight for him."

Harry nodded into my shoulder and then sat up. We sat and talked for hours before heading into the house once the sun had risen. Molly was awake when we came in and she greeted us slightly confused. Harry went upstairs to get dressed and I joined her in the kitchen.

"He'll be ok Mum."

"Dear did you call me Mum?"

I hadn't even realized I said it until she brought it up.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking."

"Dear it's quite alright, you're a daughter to me now. You can call me Mum."

I smiled and she hugged me tightly. I started brewing coffee while getting the breakfast things from the fridge.

I grabbed a mug from the cupboard and poured the coffee taking a large sip. Suddenly my mug was taken from my hands I turn around to see George standing behind me drinking my coffee.

"What in the bloody hell do you think you're doing?"

The look in my eyes must've been scary enough considering he quickly gave back my mug.
"Never take a woman's coffee George," Molly says shaking her head.

He puts his arms around my waist and kisses the top of my head. I blush knowing we were being watched.

"So I was thinking you should come with us to Diagon alley today. You can do your school shopping and then meet up with me later hang around the joke shop," he started out talking to both me and Molly but the last part was just for me. I agreed since I did have quite a few things to buy. Madame Pomphrey agreed to use weekends to teach me since I wanted to become a doctor at Saint Mungo's.

"Yeah that sounds great," I got on my tiptoes to place a kiss on George's cheek. His face flushed red even after all of this time.

He left to get dressed and Molly and I continued breakfast.

After breakfast we all got dressed and ready to go to. Fred and George both apparated so they could get there quicker and open the store. The rest of us used floo powder.

I first headed to the herbology store since I decided to take Sprouts advanced course. I walked around with my list gathering different seeds and tools.

"Hey Emily!" A familiar voice came up behind me.

"Hey Neville! Did you have a good summer?"

"It was alright, thanks for asking. You're taking the advanced course this year?"

"Yeah it'll be helpful. Madame Pompfrey is going to be teaching me a few things on weekends."

"That's amazing! Well I'll see you on the train yeah?"

I nodded and smiled before grabbing the last of the things I need. Once I walked out of the store I was immediately met by Ron.

"George wants to see you, you're in trouble," he said with a laugh.

"Why?"

"I dunno he just asked me to get you."

I walked into the joke shop and looked around for George. Suddenly I was grabbed by the wrist and turned around. I jumped back only to realize it was George.
"Let's go."

"Where are we going?"

He ignored my question and grabbed my wrist pulling me upstairs into the small apartment space about the joke shop.

"Ok now will you-" before I could finish my sentence I was up against the wall.
"I didn't know you were so friendly with Longbottom."
"So this is jealousy?"

"Well jealousy and horny work together quite well. I haven't been alone with you in a while." It was true, he had been so busy working I barely saw him.
He slammed his lips into mine while he slid his hands under my shirt. His finger tips gave me goosebumps every damn time.

So I was going to add smut to this chapter but since it's been such a long time I decided to include the smut in the next chapter making this story one chapter longer!
