Chapter 5

Toast

Finally Corpse left. Now I have to prepare myself. I will kill them all.. I will kill someone again. I tried so hard to run away from this now here I am. Back from where I started.

Three years ago

"So how's the tour?" I asked to Sykkuno and he just shyly sat down.

He put his hands together and started shivering. "Are you cold?" I asked as I walked towards to him.

I kneeled in the front of him whilst I get the blanket from a table and put it around his shoulder. Our eyes met and it started to feel warm.

"Uhh.. I-I.. umm.  I'm just... nervous.." He said and his face reddened a little.

I leaned a little closer to the point that I can feel the warm in his breathe. "Don't worry, I'm always to teach you."

"Can I ask, are we gonna stay safe after ya know..?" He asked awkwardly as I touched his arms and put it around my shoulder.

I smiled and replied "I told you not to worry. It's gonna be easy as one two three."

He laughs and kisses my forehead. "You're pretty, beautiful, gorgeous.." I said while rubbing my cheeks in his arm gently.

"Umm.. I.. I don't know.. if I can.. handle that.." He whispers as our face are getting closer and closer.

But the door immediately opens. "Toast did ya-" Micheal froze and his jaw almost dropped.

"Oh shit.." he murmured to himself.

I glared at him and ordered "Get out."

"Woooh.. it's getting hot here." He said as he wipe out his sweat.

"I said get out." I hide Sykkuno because he's so shy.

"Umm no, we have a meeting and only capos are allowed so yeah.." Micheal said and I stood up.

I then sighed and widened my angry eyes "When you and Lily are doing things, I'm not doing this to you."

"But we have a meeting." Micheal said with poker face and I just glanced at Sykkuno.

"Later.." I said then I quickly went with Micheal.

We closed the door and walked in this long highway. "So you guys are dating now?" He asked to me.

"Not really.." I replied in a cold tone.

He smiled and said "Well that's a sign of something."

"Something? What kind of something?" I questioned while walking and looking straight ahead.

He sighed and replied "Lies and deceit."

Present day.

"Lies and deceit." I said to myself.

Am I gonna kill Masayoshi? Or no? Why? Why am I still worrying about this? I mean last time-

I heard a loud noise from outside, I quickly ran towards to the nearest window to see it. It was Masayoshi's Group.

"I HEARD YOU ARE KEEPING AN EXCONPARATOR HERE!" Masayoshi shouted and he wasn't talking about me, he was about Sykkuno.

"Shit.." I mumbled while I ran to the main area where Sykkuno was.

I forcefully opened the locked door and it revealed Valkyrae panicking. Sykkuno was also standing there and he looks like dead inside.

"Oh no.. what if the higher table will-" I quickly interrupted Rae by saying "I'll help."

"We don't need your help." Sykkuno replied coldly but I approached Rae.

"I can take him to the elderly to removed his bounty of 14 million." I said then she looked at me with hope and despair at the same time.

"How can you do that?" Rae worriedly questioned to me.

I sighed and replied "Trust me."

"You're the self proclaimed best killer of this world. We can't trust you." Sykkuno answered coldly.

Rae just furrowed her brows and said "Sykkuno, we are saving your ass here. Don't be choosy." Then she glanced at me and pulled out a unbreakable bow coin.

She opened it and grabbed my finger. She wounded it and put my blood inside of the coin. She then glanced at me and wounded herself after.

"You won't break this. I trust you." Rae said to me.

I took the coin and replied "Yeah.. I won't.  I promised."

"Sykkuno, go with him." Sykkuno glared at me for a moment.

He sighed and murmured "as of I had a choice."

He went away and I followed him "be careful..." She said.

We went outside without anyone noticing. Sykkuno glared at me once again and asked "I thought you had a vengeance mission on your own?"

"I might as well put that aside." I replied then his eyes widened.

My eyes widened as well as I saw the base starts burning. I heard a loud noise and people shouting.

"Rae.." I murmured as I stared in horror.

This makes me wanna kill them all for eternity. Sykkuno remained silent and just walked away.

"Sykkuno?" I asked then he just looked back and glared.

"Are you coming or not?" He asked coldly.

Did I just.. change him?

"I know it's my fault." I said then he just left me and walked away.

I follow him while his hands are in his pocket. He.. is a completely different person. I can't see the shining brightness in his eyes anymore. I can't see it. I can't see the man that.. I used to see.

We just walked in silence. He put on his mask and he looks like a rebel. With a long cloak and it's all black. Oh yeah I forgot that I brought the guns.

We are lost.. and I'm sad about Rae. She sacrifice everything for her one and only family, Sykkuno. I feel bad for her and Sykkuno. I can't read Sykkuno but in the past, he's a little bit more showy.

"I'm  going to surrender." Sykkuno said as he removed his mask.

"What?" I was shock then I rushed towards to him.

"There's no point of living anymore." He said in a serious face.

"Rae died for you to survive!" I shouted at him and I forced him to put his mask on.

"And I will surrender to honor her." He said without blinking.

I flinched and punched him. He glared at me and I glared back to him "If you're gonna surrender, you should kill me first."
