Erik Menendez

Erik pov

I didn't get an answer from Lyle, so I just followed him up to his room. He layed the stranger on his bed and told me to bring the first aid stuff upstairs. I didn't question nothing and did what he said. I didn't know who she was and I never saw her before, but I wanted to know what happened to her. I went back to Lyle and after we nursed her wounds we left the room.

Lyle and I were downstairs, watching tv in the den, once I heard footsteps coiming down the stairs. I looked back and saw Ellie walking down from there. She came to me with tears in her eyes and I sat her on my lap "What happened babygirl?", I asked her, "There is a monster in my room", she responded, "It's fine , it was just a bad dream, I'll bring you back to your room", I stood up and carried her in her room again. 

"If anything happens, just scream", I whispered to her and kissed her forehead. I left her room and on my way down once I heard a noice from lyles room, where the strange girl layed. Once I got there, I slowly openen the door, to look green eyes. Wow. They seemed familiar. "Hi", I said with a soft voice, trying not to scare her. But well, I already saw the fear in her eyes. She didn't respond. "I uh I am Erik. Erik Menendez. My brother found you and brought you here, you don't need to be afraid, we won't hurt you", I said, in the hope she would come over.

Lauren pov

Erik Menendez. I never heard that name before. Well, probably because I was never connected with the outside world. He told me not to be afraid. Seriously? I woke up in someone strangers room, of course I'm afraid? Whatever. I heard footsteps coming from the door and another boy came inside the room. Probably the brother.

Lyle pov

 "I heard voices and thought you may be awake and I thought Erik wouldn't be here so I came to look after you, not that anything happened or something", I looked at Erik, who tried not to laugh and also the girl had a smile on her lips, "Well uh it maybe wasn't the best way to introduce myself uh I'm Lyle and I brought you here" I continued. Embarrassing. 

"I'm Lauren", the girl said. Erik and I looked up the same time. 

Lauren pov

"Nice to meet you, Lauren", Erik said while sitting on the otherside of the bed. "I don't wanna be intrusive, but my I ask you what happened to you? Or why you was on the streets?", Lyle asked and I looked down again. "I uh My dad kicked me from the house and I had nowhere to go", I went quiter after every word. I didn't wanted to tear up so I didn't say more. 

erik layed his hand on my shoulder, "It's okay, I guess we're friends now, you're welcome everytime", he smiled. I looked in his eyes and started smiling too. "You don't talk alot, right?", Lyle questioned and I just nodded. Earlier my dad always told me to shut up when I talked and I didn't wanted to say nothing wrong. 

"There is just one problem, but we can solve it!", Lyle said and I looked at him ,"Our dad, he isn't in a good mood in the last time, so he maybe wouldn't want nobody here. But you can go to the guest house. Maybe it isn't the best way to stay there, but there's a bed, a couch, a bathroom-", "It's okay. Thank you", I said. I am really thankful that I wouldn't have to stay at the streets anymore. I didn't want to see that man ever again. "I'm gonna pack a little bag for you for the guest house. I'll be back soon", Erik said and I stayed there with lyle.

Erik pov

I went into the bathroom and packed in some stuff, a toothbrush, a comb, a towel and you know. She would need some new clothes, I'll tell Lyle. But for now I went in my room and packed in two of my sweaters. I went back to Lyles room where the 2 were. I helped Lauren to go to the guesthouse, but I had to come back fast. Dad was here...
