8 years later

"Ugh yes?", I answered the phone, annoyed, "Mhm", "Andy, it's for you", I yell through our house, which we bought 7 years ago, a little after Erik's and Lyle's sentence. Talking about them- they've got a life sentence... It's horrible and it still hurts thinking about it. Since that day we visit the boys many times weekly, as Ellie was old enough, she also was able to visit them. She sadly still isn't able to walk, the doctors haven't found a way yet to hail her disability. Well, about that-

"Let me uhm let me discuss that with my cousin", was the only thing Andy was saying since he has the phone. I looked at him with an "what???" look but he just looked away, "Okay thank you, we'll stay in touch", he nodded, "Goodbye", he cut the line and sat down on the couch, which was infront of the tv, but it was turned off.

He looked...shocked?!

"What! Who was that and what did he say??", I asked excited and scared at the same time, "Ellie, go do your homework okay?", "Well", she answered and left.

Her room was on the same etage as the living room, which means that she didn't need help on the satairs or something, "Alright, now tell me!!", I already ordered him and he breath out, "I've got news"

I rolled my eyes, "Apparently, but what is it about? Is it something good or bad?", he looked at me, "Well, actually both", he said with a questioning voice. Whats wrong with him?

I continued looking at him, angrily. He really didn't want to tell me ?? Why!!, "Ugh okay so, it was the doctor. Ellie's doctor", he began, "Ooookay...??", he continued, "He told me that there may be a way to solve her problem...You know, the wheelchair stuff"

I jumped up, "That's amazing!! Why did it take you so long to tell me?", I smiled, "I didn't finish", he added. My smile dissappeared a little and I put my head in my neck

"If we agree...she'd be a test person, she'd be the first person ever they'd try this method on...which means, it could go wrong anytime", my smile completely disappeared

I'd love to see her walk again but... was is worth risking her life...?  "You need to decide", I told him and he immediately got his head up, "what?", I looked at him

"You know her longer, you are responsible for her", he looked confused "Yea but - you are yet her sister and you need to make the choice too!! You can't leave it all on me", he was right. I was just afraid and didn't know what to say

"Okay you're - you're right. Have any idea what we should do? Should we talk to her?", "i don't know ", he answered. After a long silence We decided to talk to her

"Hey sweetie", I opened Ellie's door and she looked at me smiling, "Hey! I just finished my homework", she said proudly and I smiled , "great. We need to talk to you", she got serious and looked at us

"There maybe is a way to hail your disability", Andy said and I nodded, "But it's possible that it will uh go wrong and you... you maybe won't survive it", I got quieter word by word.

She looked at us then looked at the floor.  She didn't say any word for some minutes, we was just about to leave as she spoke

"I wanna do it", she said, confidently. Andy and I looked at eachother, "You wanna do that", h asked her and she nodded, "You sure about that?", I asked her and she nodded, how mentioned, confidently
