rain ~hinata x reader~

looking at the table, you feel a rush of anxiety, yet continue to listen to your third period teacher. it had been two days since you had officially met hinata, and even though he was in your third period class, he hadn't noticed you yet.

the class went on, the teacher speaking random things you didn't really care for, you had already known what she was teaching.

the bell had rung faster than usual, it had seemed like to you. you didn't move yet, as you were waiting for everyone else to leave. you watch as the stampede of student flood out of the door. you continued to tap the desk, getting ready for the soon-to-be day.

"hey!" you heard, and stopped tapping your fingers, looking at the voice. "have you always been in this class?" his eyes were big with curiosity. he glanced down at your fingers, although he didn't question it.

you smile, being friendly once again. you nod your head with a bright smile, so you had a nice and welcoming face.

"seriously?! why haven't i noticed you?!" his eyes were fully open, and his stance was now all over the place. arms spred out, feet about 4 feet apart. you shrug, and laugh, looking back down at the desk. you never were really a talker. "um, anyway. do you think you could maybe, uh.." he soon starts to scratch the back of his head. "help me with studying.." he said in almost a pout, lowering his hand to his side, and his back hunched over.

your eyes widen, not expecting him to ask you for help. you'd only met him two days ago, and didn't have an interaction since. you think for a moment, deciding it wouldn't be a terrible idea.

"i guess i could.. but i'm not so great either," you awkwardly laugh. his eyes grow with excitement, and he almost starts to jump in his place. 

"thank you thank you thank you!" he jumps up and down. "come on! we'll be late for our next class!" he takes hold of your hand, dragging you out of the classroom. you let him drag you, while telling him directions to your next class.

you start to feel a bond, yet only speaking a maximum of 20 words to him. you never really had much friends besides an acquaintance of nishinoya, so hinata excited you.
