"Belated Gift"
*Hosea*
The rest of the day went pretty fast. I'd run off a girl who I felt would melt in my arms if I just put the moves on her like I did most women. I was sure I would have her with one touch...I guess I was wrong.
"Sir, would you like for me to look at the applications, see if we can find another towel person?" Mik asked. She had a sly smile on her face that damn near wanted me to fire her ass and look for two positions.
"No. I'm going to talk to Velvet."
She sighed and nodded, grabbing some towels. She did her job fairly well; it made me want to offer Velvet her job.
"Alright, let me get back on the floor...don't want the people waiting." She giggled. I didn't as she walked off.
She shook her ass as if she felt like I was looking. It was evident she wanted to know when I saw her turning around but this time instead of a smile, I had a disgusting look on my face.
She hurried off into the main gym. We had already opened it in honor of my boy...I'd lost my wit since he passed away. Mainly with women...I lost my respect to them. It wasn't his fault what happened to him, it was their fault. His wife and all his females he decided to hook up had everything to do with it.
After work I dropped by my home first before hitting the bar. If only I could kill off the negative thoughts without it consuming my life...but I cared about my health, my body and no drunk in history has ever soared in life staying that way.
My phone ringing caught me off guard as I had changed and was starting out the door.
"Yes!"
Trying not to sound a bit aggravated, I answered and took a seat on my large black leather couch.
"Hey dude...you comin' out?" My boy Jared asked. He was a party animal who just never gave up until I gave in.
"I was almost there before you called---what's up?"
"We got these girls man...hot as fuck too. They are coming with so if you plan on getting some, drive, don't take the taxi."
"Who the hell takes a taxi?!" I laughed and hung up the house phone.
Normally, I didn't keep a house phone but since I was the owner, the big boys in business required a home and cell phone.
I did another sweep before leaving my humble abode, mainly to check if mom threw out my condoms or energy shake mix. She hated me doing anything adult like...I will be hiring my own maid soon because mom was just too much.
Getting into my car I headed over to the bar in hopes of forgetting Miss. Velvet...or did she say she was married? Who cares, I was forgetting her. She had plenty of time to run back to me.
Tonight, I was forgetting about her, if it was the last thing I'd do...

"Are you crazy Jemma!?"
