I came to change her bandage and plasters thinking that just maybe she'd wake up but she didn't.
It was late in the night and I was so tired, then I slept off on a chair beside her bed. I held her hands tight hoping she'd wake up.
I woke up when I felt Leona pulling her hand out of mine.
She's awake! Finally.
I sat up to take a better look at her. "How are you feeling?" I asked concerned.
She looked angry and she drew back, away from me.
"Why am I here?" She gave me a fierce look. "How did you find me?" She shouted. "How did I end up in your house again? Why aren't you answering me!"
She let go of my grip on her and shouted. "Leave me alone! How the hell did you find me in such a place, Ricardo?!" She shouted.
I got annoyed a little 'cause she won't even let me answer her questions. I mean I saved her life and she's angry about that?
I held her arms tight to the bed.
"I'm not supposed to do this but I need you to calm down, ok? I'm gonna explain and answer your questions." I said trying to calm her down.
I took a deep breath. "You're here 'cause I saved you. I tracked your location 'cause you were in danger. Lorenzo called your bar manager to know if you were still at work but he said he left before you did. I called but it was going through, that's why I had to track you to save you." I explained but she didn't even spare me a glance.
"As for the third question, I don't think I have an answer to that." I blurted.
"You tracked me without my permission!" she said strictly.
"I did it for your safety, Leona, no bad intentions," I said.
She didn't look convinced at all. I'm sure she thinks I am a weird stalker.
"How would you explain the way you killed those men like they were animals, huh?" She asked her eyes filled with disgust.
"Can't you understand Leona, I did all that for your safety!" I yelled. "If I didn't shoot those men, they would have killed you and that would have hurt me a lot."
I honestly tried to make her understand but she's still angry.
"It seems you're really angry, I'll leave you to call down." I left the room.
I don't get why she's really angry. She's meant to be thanking me for saving her not yelling.
Leona's P.O.V.
Ugh! Ricardo is a pain in the neck. Why does he keep butting in my business? Did he track me? That's unbelievable, why does he need to know my whereabouts?
Something is not right here, he put a tracker on me, when? Where? How?
I couldn't even think straight with the level of pain I felt, especially on my left shoulder.
James? How could you? Who's that girl anyway? Is she his actual girlfriend or an ex-girlfriend?
I'm just confused, why did I let that jerk into my life in the first place. I didn't even do a background check on him. I just need to move on and forget about this, at least I didn't let my feelings for him get all that deep.
If not I'd be a total wreck.
I stood up to use the toilet 'cause I was pressed. My legs are still good though I have two or more bruises on them.
