The D-day

It’s the day Camellia Empire has been waiting for.

My alarm rang reminding me to get off my bed and prepare. I went to the kitchen to have some honey tea with banana chocolate chip muffins.

After breakfast, I hit the shower, then brushed my teeth. It didn’t take me much time to choose an outfit ‘cause the colour of the day is red and white.

I grabbed a white jumpsuit with a red open toe strapped sandals and a red Louis Vuitton purse.

I’m not a fan of jewelry, so I just put on stud earrings. I took my car keys and drove off.

I arrived a bit early to the hall where the show would be taking place. I was surprised to see my employees working their butts off to ensure our models' appearances were second to none.

I invited the kids at the orphanage as models for the kiddies designs. The theme for the show is ‘Feel the Love in Fashion’.

We came up with three countries, made designs in the country’s attire but more in the Camellia way and picked out the main dialect in each country.

We choose France, Italy and of course Spain.
Each country had the theme translated in it’s main dialect.

France was ‘sentir l'amour à la mode.’
Italy was ‘sentire l'amore rella moda.’ And
Spain was ‘siente el amor en la moda.’

They all mean ‘feel the love in fashion.

I sent a van with some of my employees to accompany the kids to the events hall.

The show producer and Jessy were on the stage showing the models a few things they should do on the runway. The makeup artists turned our models into stunning figures.

I watched them organize everything quickly and I was delighted at how everybody was working hard. The show was at most 20 minutes.

The Fashion show kicked off at exactly 10am on the 13th of February. The hall was filled with guests from different countries. It was recorded as one of New York’s best fashion shows.

Towards the end of the show, I walked on the runway with two of my models, we held hands and bowed before the guests.

I put my head up and smiled, feeling accomplished. I wanted to compensate my workers for their hard work.

I prepared a surprise picnic all on my own with my secret recipes. The picnic was splendid, it was in a beautiful park nearby. They all commented on the food not knowing who prepared it.

I’m really happy that I had the fashion show the way I wanted and got to spend quality time with my workers. We sure had fun.

I was having a smooth drive back home enjoying the wonderful view of the city. I felt really pleased with today’s event and my mind and eyes were totally not focused on the road.

I couldn’t help staring at the wonderfully designed sundress a lady at the bus stop was wearing. It was really distinct because of the bright colours it had.

I got distracted by the beautifully embroidered dress that I didn’t know when the traffic light turned red and I had hit the car right in front of mine.

It was a black Bugatti, a really expensive one at that. The car's siren went off but the dude didn’t come out of the car at all.

(Scoff). How nonchalant.

I had to come out of my car to apologize, though the damage wasn’t extreme, but I don’t want any problems.

The windows of the car were tinted. Ugh, this is just ‘great'. I continually knocked on the glass but no response.
