Chapter 11

*Coronation Day*
Greg's POV
This is the day that we have been waiting for - Katelyn's coronation. Vanessa and I are going to wait at the end of the altar when Katelyn takes her final journey as princess. "Dear, are you ready?" asks Vanessa. "Yes, I am, but at the same time nervous," I say. "We're going to be right there with you every step of the way," she assures me. I can't believe that my Kate is going to take my place after 25 years of ruling Wiggles World.

"Your Majesties, time to go," says Thomas. Vanessa and I take leave. I wonder what is happening on Kate's side?

Kate's POV
It's a double-celebration today - first of all, my 21st birthday and secondly, the long-waited coronation where daddy would step down, making me the new ruler of the Wiggles World. "Princess, please hold still!" says Emma as she adjusts the bows on my dress. "Emma, this would be the last time that I would be addressed as a princess," I confess. "Yes, after the coronation, you are the official ruler of Wiggles World. Everyone has to bow before you," she says. It's true, including my older siblings - Lord Dylan and Andrew. "There we go! All done! Bowtiful indeed!" says Emma after the final touches.

"Kate, it's time to take your final ride as princess," says Louise. I walk out of the doors, everyone is lined up each side of the aisle, as I pass by everyone either bow or curtsy. Take a deep breath and head up to the carriage, as it starts to make its way to the coronation venue, I wave and smile at everyone who comes just to get a glimpse of the soon-to-be ruler of Wiggles World. I see my family waiting for me at the steps, alongside with the other original wiggles. "Princess," the footman helps me out of the carriage. "Thank you," I say.

I curtsy to my parents, "We are really happy for you, sweetie!" says stepmum. "Thank you, stepmum," I say. "Kate, my child, your mummy will be proud of you," says daddy. I clutch the necklace that he gave me during our daddy-daughter date in the garden. "You're going to be a fantastic ruler," says Andy. "Kate, you'll do well," says Dylan. This is the first time I hear my older sibling said this to me. "Your Majesties, it's time," says Thomas. "See you there, kiddo!" Daddy winks at me and kisses my forehead. I hug my older siblings, Georgia and the other wiggles children are waiting inside the altar to make sure everything is in tip top shape.

Georgia's POV
Hamish and I are making sure that everything is in place, this is Kate's coronation we are handling here. It's definitely a wiggly party! Anthony's children are helping too. We are wearing headphones and walky talkies in hand as we are in different stations. Thomas will give us the signal on when Kate is making her big entrance. "Hamish, you have everything?" I ask my younger sibling. "Yes, sis!" he says, "Antonio, please stay with us at all times. Where are Lucia and Maria?" Hamish is looking for the older two. They are not far from us.

Daddy is tuning his guitar, Jeff is taking a snooze as always. Anthony, we hope he doesn't finish all the food, he is a big foodie. "Georgia," Daddy calls. I walk over to him, "Daddy, is everything okay?" I ask. "Maybe it's time for you take over to rule the citizens of guitar world," says daddy. "Daddy, are you sure?" I ask. "Yeah, you have done really well! Your mummy and I will have some time off but I will guide you every step of the way," says daddy. Wow, I have to think carefully before making this big decision. I know I'm gonna rule guitar world one day. "It's okay, no rush, we'll let you think about it," says daddy.

"Sis, get ready! Greg and Vanessa are coming!" Hamish's voice blasts through the earpiece. "Okay, jeez, Hamish, please don't shout in it," I say. "Hamish, son, I can hear it too!" says Daddy with a laugh. "Dad!" Hamish says through the earpiece. Oh my word, my ears are gonna blow! Hamish and I take place, once the orchestra starts to play, Greg and Vanessa lead the procession of walking down the aisle. Dylan and Andy are steps away from their parents. Daddy is at the altar alongside the other original and current wiggles.

When Greg and his family reach the end, Daddy reveals the wand which is the prize possession of Wiggles World. "The princess is coming," Hamish is giving the cue. "Alright, everyone! Places, please," I say. Kate will have a double-door entrance.

Kate's POV
This is it, my final journey as a Princess. In a few moments, I'll officially be the ruler of Wiggles World. I wonder how is daddy at the altar?

Greg's POV
Murray leads the band playing, Kate walks through that door and slowly way up to the altar while I'll be stepping down from my role as ruler of Wiggles World. I can see the necklace shining in the distance, M would be so proud of our child.

Thinking about the good times Kate and I have.  "Dear, it's time," I hear Vanessa's voice. The archbishop takes the crown from my head, "Greg, Kate will do well!" he says. I nod in agreement.

Here she comes, my dear child is about to be crowned as the new ruler of Wiggles World. I gotta get the magic wand ready for the blessing.

Kate kneels in front of everyone in the room. The archbishop puts the crown on Kate's head. "Do you Katelyn Diana solemnly swear to rule the people of Wiggles with justice and mercy?" This is the big moment because if she says yes, a new ruler is born. If it's the opposite, the whole Wiggles World will be going down at any second.

Kate's POV
A crown placed on my head, I'm ready to rule. "I solemnly swear will do!" I say. "I hereby present HM Queen Katelyn of Wiggles World! Greg, you may bless the new ruler with the magic wand," says the officiate. Daddy blesses me with the magic wand, a new ruler is born!

I stand up taking my first walk as a new ruler. I can't wait for what the future will bring. "Congratulations, Kate!" says Georgia. "Thank you!" I say.

Greg's POV
Kate is officially the new ruler of Wiggles World! I'm super proud of my child. She's going to continue where the parents left off. As a retired ruler, I deserve the break that I need. Still, I have to guide Kate along the way. Her wiggly journey is about to begin!
