George laughed. Did he seriously laugh at what I just said? "Dream? Where did you get that name?" he said between laughs. "George! I'm serious." I exclaimed. George laughed hysterically, almost falling off his chair. "George, when he pulled me to the corner, that's what he wrote. And then he, communicated with me." I said. George stopped laughing but still had a smile plastered to his face. "Nick, I think you had over exposure. You might want to get checked out." he said, putting his hand on my shoulder. "George! I'm not kidding!" I yelled, clearly frustrated. George's smile faded into a frown. "Sorry Sap." George said, turning his head away. My face turned beet red as I remembered what I told Dream. George started to giggle again . "S-stop! I couldn't tell him my real name!" I complained. George continued to giggle,  completely ignoring me. "Fine Sapnap. I believe you but how are we supposed to help him?" George questioned.  "I'm not exactly. Will you help me?" I ask. George sighs, the smile leaving his face. "I don't know Sap. It sounds crazy" he says dejectedly. "George please?" I beg. "I can't! Nick what you're suggesting is crazy! You got overexposed!" he yelled. "I was in there for 2 minutes!" I yelled back. "Nick are you an idiot? If you're wrong, I might lose my job. And, I would've wasted my time on something stupid and meaningless!" he said, standing up.  I stand up, getting close to him. "You are so selfish. Did you know that George?" I snarl, jabbing a finger into his chest. "Well at least I'm still sane!" he says, backing away from me. "All Level 5 scientists, please report to meeting room 34." an automated voice played over the intercom. I head towards the door, reaching for the doorknob but I pause. "At least I'm a good friend." I mutter before turning the doorknob and walking out. I leave the door ajar, too mad to close it on George's face. I shove my hands in my pockets, lost in thought.

What if Schaltt knows that Dream was a human?

What if he does? What can we; I do about that?

 It would make sense but who would it be? 

Someone he kidnapped

Schaltt doesn't take any other teenagers to experiment on anymore he just creates them. 

Maybe he does it in secret

No- Maybe he is. I'm gonna investigate later.

I pondered on the last thought for a bit longer before hearing someone call out my name. I ignored it, continuing to walk. "Dr. Armstrong!" the voice said, a little louder. I turned around, seeing a short teen with brown hair running towards me. I raised my eyebrow and stopped walking waiting for the teen to catch up with me. He stopped in front of me, trying to catch his breath before speaking excitedly. "Hi! I'm Karl Jacobs! You can just all me Karl though." he said, holding out his hand. I smiled, taking his hand and shaking it. "Sorry Karl, I have to head to a meeting." I said before turning away. "Wait! I'm heading to the Level 5 meeting too! We can walk together." he suggested. I just shrugged in response, signaling for him to come. He appeared next to me, giddy with excitement. "So, any recent breakthroughs with Dream?" he asks casually. My eyes widen with surprise at the use of the experiment's supposed "name"  He giggled. What? I just met this dude I can't trust him! I think, mentally punching myself. "Word spreads quickly when a new experiment does something unimaginable." he says, temporarily snapping me back to reality. "I actually do have a breakthrough." I say before I can stop myself. "Cool! What is it?" He asks, turning the corner. "I...I think Dream used to be a human." I admit. Karl nods his head slightly. "Why?" he asked. "I'm not actually sure. I think Schlatt has something to do with it. I'm not going to log it, I'll go solo since George doesn't believe me." I say, a bit quieter at the end. "I believe you." he murmurs. I smile, looking down at him. He's nervously fiddling with his fingers as if he want's to ask me something. "Karl? Is there something you want to tell me?" I ask. "Can I help you? With the breakthrough I mean." he blurts out. I smirk, putting my hand on my chin as if I were thinking. "Hm, Sure. I need all the help I can get." I say finally. As we approach the meeting room door, his smile goes from ear to ear, making me laugh. 

We're gonna get you out of here Dream. 

~George POV~

I watched as Nick entered the room smiling with another person. Who is that? Did he leave me? I shook away the thoughts and watched as Nick sat down next to the boy. They were laughing together, their knees touching. My heart sunk. (Sapnotfound?) He left me. Or did I leave him? Someone clapped their hands loudly, signaling for everyone to be quiet. "Hello everyone! Welcome to the Level 5 meeting. As some of you already know, My name is Eret. The head administrator for LTWCE. In this meeting, we will discuss new placements, new RWE's, and a surprise show a the end." Eret said, saying show as it were the most important even of his career. Maybe it was. "For Experiment - 312125, we will assign Niki, Sam, Zak, Darryl, Wilbur, Karl, and Alex. George and Nick can lead you to your new office afterwards." Eret said, gesturing to Nick and I. Nick high fived the boy as the names were called out. "Alright. Now that everyone is informed about their new assignments, let's get started."

~Time Skip~

"...and that is all the new RWE's. You will have a folder on your new desks explaining all of the details that I didn't." Eret finished. My attention was shifted back to Nick who was paying attention to Eret as he spoke. "Now, for the show. This is a live recording of our most powerful RWE showing off his powers after being injected with 'N8G7T131RE'" Eret said rather quickly at the end. My eyes widened and I glanced at Nick who also seemed surprised. That injection made the person who was injected with it very hostile. The screen turned on making me more interested. The screen produced a high quality video showing...
