Young-Mi's POV
You looked through the train window. You couldn't get enough of the views of the beautiful Korean countryside. The greens of the trees were so vibrant, and you wished you were inside the train on your own so you could focus on the landscapes, but his head on your shoulder reminded you why you were sitting there.
He gently held your hand, with a ring on it. His soft breathing was heating up your shoulder and his relaxed sleepy face was everything you could have wished for.
It wasn't your first trip together but it was the most important by far. You were coming back together where it all had begun, five years ago. You were wearing another hoodie, hiding your face too but now, you were hiding to rest a bit.
This was how it all began.
His smile and kindness were everything you needed. He said that you were everything he could have asked for at that time, and you were grateful for the twist of fate the universe had carefully planned.
But now, you were back there but not as two freshly broken hearts. But as a couple. A married couple on their honeymoon.
Daegu was an evidence for both of you while choosing a place for your honeymoon - the town that had raised you both and united you forever. It felt like yesterday yet the heartache wasn't there as it was five years ago for both of you.
Yoongi softly moved his face against your shoulder, mumbling something as he was waking up.
You were fond of this expression and his sappy looks as he just had woken up. You looked down at him and his beautiful puppy eyes looked up at you with all their love. Every time he was looking at you, you felt loved and cherished. You felt valued and you hoped that you looked the same at him because he made you feel the same.
"Are we home yet?" he asked in this adorable sleepy voice as he rubbed his eyes before stretching a bit.
"Almost there sugar, almost there," you softly replied and kissed his cheek.
"Amazing, can't wait to be back at the park where I fell in love with you..." he casually added as he extended his arms a little more to stretch.
He was the man you had decided to marry and you didn't regret any moment spent with him.
"I love you so much, Mrs Min. I really do..." he gently slot his lips with yours. You giggled shyly, still having the same butterfly effect just like how the first time you two shared a kiss.
"I love you too, Mr Daegu. Always and forever." 💜
