"Ano ba yan, feeling ko nasa The Buzz tayo hahaha! Kulang na lang may lalabas na VTR message from Gerald! Hay, ganito pala ang feeling kapag may minamahal at nagmamahal sa'yo. Mahirap i-explain. Rollercoaster talaga ang love story namin. Pero finally, here we are, still together kahit minsan mahirap itago. Alam mo naman, napaka-transparent ko na tao."
They are fully aware that they can't please everybody but for Sarah and Gerald, what matters most is they are happy with each other regardless of what other people think. Maraming nag-aabang sa love story nilang dalawa after Gerald admitted in public that he's officially courting Sarah. At that time, they have already fallen in love with each other but they've both decided it was not yet the right time to share it with the public.
"Thank you for trusting me with your story. All I can say is, you guys are really meant for each other. Super happy naman ako dahil finally, you've met your one true love. Next time, invite natin si Gerald to have dinner here ha, I will cook for you guys!" KC gave her a big hug after she revealed the truth.
Their dinner turned out into a love story confession minus the cameras. KC promised her that their secret is safe with her. After all, she knows how it feels to be in Sarah's shoes. Her last relationship was far more controversial than she expected and she doesn't want Sarah to suffer the same fate. She invited Sarah to stay at her place that night but she begged off. Next time na lang daw, kapag hindi na sila masyadong busy.
"Ipapahatid na kita sa driver ko, Sars ha, wait lang tawagan ko si Manong." She was waiting for KC to come back from her room when her phone rang.
"Hello, Babe? Tapos na ba shoot mo? Kumain ka na ba?" She picked up on the first ring.
"Yes, baby. Pauwi na kami nila Jalal. Nasa bahay ka na ba? Kamusta dinner nyo ni KC? Sorry kung hindi natuloy dinner natin ha, promise babawi ako sa'yo tomorrow night after your show."
"Masaya naman, dami ko nakain na hakaw! Actually, andito pa ako sa condo niya eh, hinihintay ko lang driver nya. Ipapahatid na lang daw niya ako sa ABS. Dun na lang ako papasundo kay Daddy. Baka hindi na kita matawagan mamaya kasi I'm sure late na ako makakauwi sa bahay."
"Ah ganun ba, sunduin na lang kita dyan, malapit na kami sa Fort. Can you text me her address please?"
"Sure ka ba, Babe? Hindi ka pa ba pagod? Baka late ka na makauwi mamaya kung ihahatid mo pa ako. Papasundo na lang ako kay Daddy para hindi na kayo maabala."
"Oo sure na sure. I want to see you, badly. Sige na baby, malapit na kami, will call you kapag nasa lobby na ako ng condo niya, ok? I love you." He ended the call before she can say no. Twenty minutes later, he buzzed KC's unit number. KC insisted that he should come up instead of waiting for Sarah at the lobby. Sarah opened the door for him and welcomed him with a hug.
"Hello baby girl, I've missed you all day." He whispered in her ear and stole a quick peck on the cheek. "I bought this for you and KC." He handed her a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
"Awww, namiss din kita. Buti naman maaga kayo natapos, akala ko hindi na tayo magkikita today eh. Nasa kitchen si KC, halika puntahan natin." She pulled his hand and led him to the kitchen.
"Hello, Gerald! Buti naman napadaan ka dito." KC buzzed his cheeks after putting down a tray of pastries for him and Sarah. "I was just telling Sarah na sana we can have dinner here one of these days. Halika, mag dessert muna tayo bago kayo umuwi. Kamusta na ang baby boy ni Sars?" He tried to hide the shock when KC teased him about that pet name. When he noticed the girls exchanged knowing glances, he had an inkling that KC knew that he was more than a friend to Sarah.
Iba pa rin talaga ang feeling when you hear and feel that your friends are truly happy for you. Ganun ang naramdaman nila when they left KC's place. Sarah told him what she told KC. He was happy that she's starting to open up to her friends. He was proud of the fact that she was proud to be his girlfriend. For now, sapat na sa kanila na alam ng mga malalapit na kaibigan at pamilya nila ang kanilang relasyon.
Before they left KC's place, she invited them to join her and Teacher Georcelle to watch Madonna's concert in Brazil in December. They both liked the idea but it was too soon for them to say yes. They told her they will talk about it first and will inform her as soon as they can confirm if they can join her. Nagpasalamat sila kay KC for welcoming them to her house. She hugged them both before they left and told them they are more than welcome to hang out there any time.
A few weeks later, she got one of the biggest surprises from Gerald. He picked her up from the theather after she watched Twilight with her friends and mom. Nagulat pa si Sarah nang maabutan niya si Gerald na naghihintay next to their family van. He wanted to surprise her at home dahil maaga na pack up ang taping nila pero hindi niya naabutan si Sarah. Sinabi ni Daddy Delfin kung saan nanuod sila Sarah at sumunod ito para sunduin ang kasintahan.
"Good evening po Tita. Hello, baby girl." Sinalubong niya ang mag-ina at bumeso sa kanila.
"Ikaw talaga, lagi mo na lang ako ginugulat! Akala ko may taping ka, sana sumama ka na lang sa amin manuod. Grabe, ang ganda ng Part 2! Gusto mo samahan kita manuod uli bukas after the show?"
"Kung papayag si Tita, sige manuod tayo uli. I will pick you up after the show. Tita, ok lang po ba sa akin na sumabay si Sarah pauwi?" Pumayag naman si Mommy Divine at inabot ang bag ni Sarah kay Gerald at sinabihan na magingat ito sa pagmamaneho. He opened the door for her and she settled inside his car.
"Babe, salamat sa pagsundo mo sa amin ha. Naalala kita kanina habang pinapanuod ko yung movie. Sorry ha, hindi na kita mahintay alam mo naman na excited ako manuod ng part 2. Pero promise, sasamahan kita manuod kahit ilang beses pa."
"Talaga, baby? Baka naman mas mahal mo na si Edward kesa sa akin kaya gusto mo manuod uli ha?" He made a face without taking his eyes off the road. She glared at him and flicked his ear. Panay lang ang asaran nilang dalawa pauwi. Kung hindi sila nag-aasaran, they would sing along inside the car. Those were one of the unguarded moments nilang dalawa, him driving for her while she sings for him.
"Oo, miss ko na siya. Nanghihinayang lang ako dahil hindi siya nakasama sa atin. Gift pa naman niya sa akin itong trip na ito tapos wala siya. Alam mo ba na binigay niya sa akin yung plane tickets for this trip after namin manuod ng Part 2? Nasa bucket list kasi namin ang makapunta sa Brazil. Ikakain ko na nga lang ito, haayy!!!" She swallowed another spoonful of yoghurt and heaved a deep sigh.
"Sars, alam mo naniniwala ako na things happen for a reason. Isipin na lang natin na marami pang chance na matupad yan, malay natin dun pala ang honeymoon ninyo in the future, diba? At least pagbalik mo dun, ikaw na ang magiging tour guide ni Gerald." KC's words lifted her spirits a bit but deep inside her, she knew that this trip will be more complete if she was with him.
