Chap. 17 My Worst Nightmare

I felt really bad that I just broke up with Riker then he took a bus for me. But I'm not going to get back together with him just because of that no matter how rude I sound. I don't mean to be rude but I meant what I said and I feel really hurt that he did that but it doesn't change anything between me and him. Already 2 days had passed and he had to stay in the hospital for another week. Stormie insisted I spent the night with him in the hospital so I basically had no choice even though I actually wanted to because I felt bad. Riker had a concussion for about 1 day but after that he said his body ached and he was constantly thirsty. I guess he doesn't really feel that bad. It was about 3:00 in the morning and I couldn't sleep because I was sick and kept coughing and sniffling. 'Beth?....... Is that you?' 'Yeah, Riker. You need to go back to sleep though, I'll be fine' 'No come here scoot in' he said as he scooted over and I climbed into the bed with him. 'You know it feels good to hold you in my arms again' 'I'm sorry Riker but I did it for the best of us' 'Yeah ok.....' He said but I guess he was really tired because about a minute after that I heard him breathing a little heavier so I knew he was asleep. It was really hot in there and I know he was hot because he kept switching positions in his sleep. I got up so he could have the bed and walked out to get a bottle of water. I bumped into somebody that I wasn't supposed to ever see again. Somebody that got threw in jail for what he did to me. He's supposed to still be in jail so I was kind of worried. I tried to play it cool like maybe he wouldn't recognize me. 'Oh hey sorry dude, uhhhh gotta go get water, later' I said as I tried to walk past him quickly. 'Uh uh where do you think your going little lady come here. Remember me? Your worst dream is about to begin, for the second time! Come on sweet cheeks' he said as everything went black. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So here's something that will lead into her past. Nobody really knows about her past because she's ways quiet and awkward around that subject. I didn't update yesterday like I said because I got busy. I don't think it really matters though because I usually update everyday so people will just have to deal with it!
