Chap. 18 The Kidnapper

I woke up in someplace dark. I felt like I was being watched but I couldn't tell. My arms were really sore because my arms were chained up on the ceiling. There was a lot of people in this room and I didn't know who. 'What?......' I said with a croaked voice. I just then realized that my throat was as dry as a cactus. Just then the lights flickered on. I saw that I was in a basement. My kidnapper was standing at the top of the stairs looking at me. 'Ahh I see you have woke up. Well welcome to where you will be staying until I figure out what to do with you' he said with a snarl. 'So what you do here is you have to work for your food and water. You have a small canteen of water that you have while you work. There is no guards, no guard towers. So you could run at any time. I wouldn't waste a bullet on you so don't be worried. But if you want to run, go ahead but we have the only water supply for 90 miles!' The kidnapper said. 'Uhh thanks' I said wincing in pain. 'Now you don't get to eat today because it's your first time and you haven't worked, but if you want some water, go outside and dig me a hole 6 feet deep and 20 feet wide. It'll make a great swimming pool! Now go you idiot' he said as he unchained me. I walked outside in the blazing sun and grabbed a shovel. I started to dig and in a minute I was already pouring sweat.
*Kidnapper P.O.V*
'Hey babe, that b*tch is digging us a nice pool down there' I said 'oh great. So why'd you kidnap her anyway?' My girlfriend Olivia said 'well a long time ago when she was about 8 I kidnapped her and somehow she escaped and got me in prison for the rest of my life. Well I broke out of jail and ever since then I have been searching for her and I'm not even going to let her eat, I'm only giving her 1 sip of water a day, so she's gonna get what she deserves' I said 'Nice babe, you should just beat her when she goes too slow! And you know I was on Twitter and apparently her boyfriend has made this post about her and making a #bringbackCait hashtag. Are you sure they're not gonna find us?' Olivia asked 'yeah I'm sure that dude is an idiot an anyways he's in the hospital. She's been knocked out for 2 days and he's due in the hospital for another week so she ain't going nowhere!' I laughed feeling myself smirk. I left Olivia and went to go check on Caitlin. 'Hey b*tch why aren't you digging?' I said as I looked around. I saw her running down the street a couple feet away. I took off her, once I got close I grabbed her arm and yanked her back. 'Where do you think you're going?' I asked her, but I didn't give her a chance to reply before I beat her with a baseball bat, then she passed out.
