Chap. 12 Going to the movies

After Riker and I had made up I went back inside to see a crying Rydel. 'That was the sweetest thing I have ever seen Beth. Oh my god I'm gonna cry again. Eeeeeek it's so cute!!!' 'Oh Rydel I should've known you would've spied. But dry up those tears, you gotta help me get ready for a date!!' 'Ok'

Rydel picked out my outfit. She picked high waisted skinny jeans with a crop top tank and converse. She also demanded she did my makeup so she made it a beachy look. With a neutral eye and pink lip balm, as Rydel said I looked 'as the fricking hottest girl to ever live'. The movie theatre is literally a 5 minute walk so Riker came by my house then we started walking. 'You know you look absolutely beautiful' ' Thanks you just thank your sis she's the bomb. You know Riker I wouldn't rather be with anyone else right now. This is like perfect just you and me' I said as I grabbed his hand. Once we got to the movies, got our tickets, and found our seats the movie still had 10 more minutes till starting. So we went to the front and got us some popcorn and a large coke to share since I don't drink much. When we came back into the room (whatever it's called) the movie was about to start so Riker and I found our seats and sat back down. I was holding Rikers hand when I felt my phone buzzing. An unknown number was calling me so I excused myself and walked outside to answer the call. 'Hello, is this Bethany White?' 'Yes that is me' 'ok I am very sorry to say that your parents have gotten into a car accident and are in the ambulance heading to the hospital' 'oh my god....... Um okay I'll be there in a few minutes' I said as I hung up breaking down crying. Apparently the movie started so Riker came to find me and saw me crying. 'Oh my god what's wrong?' 'We need to go to the hospital now. My parents got into an accident' 'Beth it's okay come on let's go well be at the hospital in 10 mins if we hurry baby. It'll be okay theyll be okay. Come on let's hurry' Riker said as he took my hand leading me out of the building to the car. We sped off toward the hospital and I was afraid. Afraid thatd I'd be too late if anything happened. That my parents wouldn't survive.
