Chap.13 Saying my goodbyes

Riker was kind of driving a little crazy. But I didn't care I just wanted to see my parents. I know he was driving ridiculously fast because I was crying so much it was really hard for me to breath. When we got to the hospital I jumped out of the car and ran to the door not waiting for Riker. 'I'm here for my mom and dad, the Whites' 'I'm sorry sweetie but they are both in surgery and it's not looking good. But as soon as your allowed in ill let you know' the receptionist said as I grabbed Rikers hand trying to hold back the tears and walking to the waiting area. If it wasn't looking I just wanted to see them 1 last time before they go. I just hope I still can.

'Bethany? Hi I'm Jasmine your parents doctor. I'm sorry but they will not be able to stay alive much longer but you will still have time to say your goodbyes if we hurry. Riker and I started walking down the hall following Jasmine to my parents room. I knew they were tired and hurt but I ran up to both of them and gave them a huge hug. 'Mom......Dad......I love you so much' 'honey we love you too dear. But we can't stay much longer. I'm afraid that the person hit us too hard and.... well it's time for us to go. We want you to know that we love you so much. And Beth come here real quick' my dad said as I made my way to his bed and leant down looking at him teary eyed. He whispered in my ear 'fight for Riker, he's the one. I know it honey. When I first met him and the way he treated you I knew then that he is the one for you. So no matter what you do, all the bumps in the road you have, fight for him. That's the thing I want you to reassure me before I go' 'yes dad I will I promise' I said as I started crying as I heard my mom start to joke and lose her breath. I came over to her as she died in my arms as a hug and I whispered in her ear 'I love you, your the best mom I would ever want' 'I walked back over to my dad and told him bye and I love you and walked out the room. As I left, I thought one thing for sure. When I find out who crashed my parents, I will sue them for all their worth.
