All watching me

I couldn't take my eyes off the yellow lines that separated the two sides of the road, one heading forward the other, backwards, "are you ok?" I was shaken out of my trance by Ashley's words, "yeah, just a bit out of it." We pulled into our driveway and went inside, my mind was a blur, and I did not care about my surroundings, I walked into my room and closed the door, the sound of leather rubbing against itself as I sat down, I stared down at my pc, everything still, I clicked my mouse a couple times and the machine roared to life. I sat there looking at the button, red and black all I felt I could do was hover my mouse over it, each letter spelling out "go live" I heard myself mumble, I clicked down on my mouse, but my finger seemed to refuse to lift and confirm the action, I let go.

It seemed instant, the numbers soared up the amount of people watching me rose to 5,203 people and it did not seem to stop. I sat there speechless, all I could do was watch the numbers rise, "welcome everyone" my voice stuttered and refused to work properly, I watched as the chat blew up with HI's, and hello's, I laughed a bit under my breath at all the people taking time out of there days to watch me, someone they did not know. I logged into Call of duty warzone shakily, my mouth opened to say something but was interrupted by a loud ding, "shadowsloth280 thanks for the 10 dollars!" my heart raced as I realized the amount of money I was about to make.

It had been a few hours of streaming and I was starting to get comfy with it, the donations the viewers and I was addicted to the sense of pressure to play well. I heard a clicking noise as ash walked in casually and watched me play for a bit, "wanna play?" I spun my chair around at the sound of those words "hell yeah! Are you going to stream too?" the excitement in my voice was obvious, "yeah sure, why not" she skipped out of my room and up the stairs as I left my current game and invited her.

"all righty chat, well it's been fun, but I haven't eaten and its getting late so I think its about time to end the stream, hope everyone had as much fun as me, and ill see you in the next one!" I ended the stream and stretched the end amount of donations glowed in the dark room, $4,322, the amount made me grin until my face seemed to hurt. People watched me, paid me, I had a fanbase! I giggled in the silence of the cold house, this is my new life and all I could do was play along.
