Chapter 4

(AUTHORS NOTE: okay so I found out Taylor Caniff didn't re-break is arm. Whoops. Oh well😂 enjoy!)

*Hayes POV*

I looked over at Lindsey with the movie ended to see that she was asleep. She was so beautiful in every possible way. I decided not to wake her up right now. I get on Twitter and find her and click follow. I then read my mentions and notifications.

"@camerondallas: can't wait to see Nash and Hayes and the rest of the guys soon."

I had totally forgot that in 4 days we leave for magcon in Orlando! That means I have to leave Lindsey.

Just about that time I notice Lindsey open her eyes.
"Well good morning sleepy head." She laughed and sat up to check her phone.
"Man it's already 2! Oh look who followed me on Twitter...THE HAYES GRIER!" She said it jokingly and laughed. She was pretty chill I have to admit. She wasn't like all those other girls.

"Hey so since you like boarding and I do too how about I show you our skate park? It's pretty cool." Our skate park wasn't but a couple blocks away. We could probably board there in like 5 minutes.

"Sure I'm up for that! Let me go next door and get my board and I'll meet you out front in 5 minutes." She got up and left so I threw on some khakis with my red vans and a tie dyed sweatshirt. I ran up stairs and grab my board and headed outside. I turned my phone on do not disturb because I just wanted to go out and do normal 14 year old things. I wanted to be able to go out and have fun without being trampled by fans. I love my fans but I kinda miss being normal and today I decided I was just gonna be the normal Hayes Grier.

*LINDSEYS POV*

I grabbed my board and put my hair up in a loose pony tail. I noticed mom had finally got the picture of us all, and she put on the counter. By all of us I mean mom, dad, and me. I remember the day we took that photo. We had just got out of church and dad wanted a family photo because we were all having such a great time. I miss him a lot. I know mom misses him too. She talks about how he made everyone laugh and how he never met a stranger. I bolt out the door realizing that I have kept Hayes waiting.

"Hey sorry I had a hard time finding my board. You ready to go?" I lied because he doesn't have to know about my dad. Only Callie and Brice knew the truth. Everyone else thinks he's still missing.

"Yeah we can get there in 5 minutes if we board. You ready to go?" I was really excited because I love to skate board and I couldn't do that a lot lately.

"Totally!" I laughed and then we were off. Before I knew it we were at a huge indoor/outdoor skate park I was impressed! It was half inside and then you skated over a ramp and you were in the outdoor part. It was so much better than the one in cali.

We were the only ones there and we were having loads of fun. He was really good on a board I have to admit. As we were doing tricks and skating I stopped to get some water when I noticed her staring at me.
