"Granpa!" Sean yelled dashing towards the suspicious old man, only to be caught and held back at the last minute by Hank.
Zeel was confused at his behavior, perhaps being involved with only Alice and Elizabeth for so long did not allow him time to analyze the behavior of regular humans.
'Sean likes running into the arms of strange old men in jungles,' Zeel thought as he made a note of Sean's sexual inclinations.
Alice and Elizabeth both began giggling all of a sudden which caused everyone in the group to look at them suspiciously.
They quickly gathered themselves once more, choosing to ignore Zeel's thought processes and focus on the situation at hand.
Alice made the silver-ball scan the old man a couple of times, confirming the blood connection between himself and Sean. She then nodded signaling Hank that he was indeed whom Sean said he was.
"Ha, my grandson I knew you would come," said Alexander, Sean's grandfather.
"Yeah, it was hard decoding the message but here we are. This is my stepdad," Sean said as he introduced Hank and then everyone else; though when he got to Alice, Zeel and Elizabeth he hesitated a bit before calling them gods respectfully.
"Gods? Not the craziest thing I have ever seen but close," Alexander said jokingly, which made Zeel want to shift through his memories for a moment before being held back by Elizabeth since it would pain him to invade one's privacy with the restrictions in place – or as Elizabeth called it 'Law of the World' aka 'The Commandments of the Gods'.
After everyone was introduced, Alexander said "Well, come on! It can get pretty dangerous around here so let's head back to my place. It's really a luxury,"
Heading back toward his supposedly luxury encampment; Zeel, Alice, and Elizabeth were having a conversation of their own in the back.
"We always read the memories of unknown variables," Zeel said complaining that Alice held him back earlier, for all they knew the old man could be a demon in disguise.
Elizabeth nodded and agreed "Yes 'Unknown'. But that old man is not an unknown, we saw his profile while searching up about the kid Sean, right?"
Elizabeth knew that Alice had probably stopped them from doing something completely necessary.
Zeel reluctantly nodded while Alice added "There are no enhancements of any kind to his body in anyway.... he is of no threat to us,"
Zeel nodded as the three began messing around with a game they had always played over the years to relieve boredom – Benefits of Humanity's Fall.
This was a game that Zeel and Alice often played during the apocalypse, and Elizabeth later joined the competition.
At this point, Alice and Zeel were at Benefits of Humanity's Fall Number 3,659.
Finally, the group arrived at a huge tree house a couple of miles away from where they were previously.
Alexander started to introduce the place with great zeal, bragging about his achievements since he crashed his ship on the shores of the island.
Zeel noticed a small discrepancy in his story but said nothing as even if Alexander was a serial killer, it had nothing to do with him. That and Alice would have already punished him if he was evil in any way.
Just like that, everyone found a space in the treehouse to sleep the night, with Kailani drifting ever closer to where Zeel and the girls were sleeping.
Zeel and the girls ended the night with another song stolen from some other universe in the multiverse – good thing Multiversal Copy Rights were not a thing yet.
