DxD Chapter 3: $#*% just got real!

3rd Person POV

After Asia gets through with her daily morning routines, she heads downstairs to make breakfast for herself and Nate. When she got downstairs, however, she saw that Rias and the rest of the Peerage were there and had already made breakfast.

"Morning, Asia!" Issei greeted.

"Oh! Good morning!" Asia greeted happily.

"Tea?" Akeno offered.

"Thank you." Asia replied politely.

After a few minutes of talking with the rest of the Peerage, Asia noticed that someone was missing.

"Where's Nate?" Asia asked.

"Still in his room. I think he's still sleeping, but I'm not sure." Issei replied.

"You didn't check?" Akeno asked.

"We were kind of inclined not to when we saw a note on his door that said 'If you hear anything in here break, stay the fuck out'." Kiba replied.

"What exactly is so scary about a note?" Koneko asked.

"Probably the fact that it was attached to the door via scary butterfly knife." Issei replied.

"I wonder what he's doing right now?" Kiba wondered.

Nate POV

Y'know what one of the perks of having my team stuck in my head is?

When I dream, I only have to think of the location. The others take care of the wacky, chaotic hijinks that we normally get up to.

For instance, all I had to do was think of Doublecross. Now we're in the middle of a normal game of Capture the Intelligence.

Soldier is Rocket Jumping like the madman he is, Demo is charging in with one of his swords with Medic following him, and Sniper is hanging back and doing what he does best.

I'm hanging out by the Intelligence, making sure no one steals it. Scout and Spy came in together to try and get it. Engi also came in, surprisingly, and nearly got me. Heavy sounded like he was making a push outside with Pyro backing him up.

I guess every con has a pro.

Because by god, have I missed this!

3rd Person POV

"He's probably not even here. Likely at a bar doing who knows what." Koneko said.

"A bar? At 17 years old?" Rias asked.

"Like age is going to stop him?" Koneko replied.

"She does have a point, President. Nate has made it very clear that he doesn't care about who and what Devils are, and that he's only doing this for money." Issei said.

"I know. But... I just have to know." Rias said.

"Know what, President?" Kiba asked.

"When I told Nate that he didn't seem to have an aura of any kind, I wasn't telling the truth." Rias explained.

"What do you mean?" Akeno asked.

"I do sense an aura in him. But it's not one that I've ever seen. Not only that, but somehow has multiple." Rias explained.

"W-what?!" Issei exclaimed.

"How is that possible?!" Koneko asked.

"I don't know. That's why I wanted him to become part of the Peerage. I just have to know what he is." Rias said.
