Part 7

The next morning you wake up first than your mother so you get up to go to the kitchen but when you leave, you look at your room making you feel bad and empty inside you. You went to drink water and then you went to the living room and sat down, but then you see that your dog came up to you so you hug her. You didn't want to be at home, you wanted to go away for a while but you have nowhere to go, then you get a message from (fr/n).

"I'm so sorry to hear about (cat/n)" She wrote "I really wish I could be there for you right now"

"I wish this was a nightmare, I feel so lost now, it really hurts so much"

"It shouldn't be easy, you two were very close, you must be wanting to be away from your house now, I wish I was there for you to stay at my house for a few days"

"Don't worry, I'll ask my mother to go to my grandfather house"

"To your grandfather's house?" She writes "Are you sure it's a good idea to go there? You know how your grandfather is like and insensitive he is"

"I know but I really have no other place to go, anywhere is better than here, at least for a little while."

"Okay, I also read that your neighbors helped you, it's good that they were there with you, it would have been very hard for you two to do it alone"

"Yes but (fr/n) you should go get ready to go to the university, so let we better talk later, you have an important exam today"

"I still have time and right now you are more important than an exam"

"No, just go and let's talk later, I don't feel like talking anyway so don't worry about me"

You turn off the cell phone before she answers and you put your hands on her face but then you see your mom. You look at her but then you get up and hug her, trying to hold back your tears.

-Do you want to go to your grandfather house?-She sees you nod -Do you want to take (dog /n) with us?

You nod again and you went to look for clothes to change and your dog follows you, you stop in front of your door for several seconds but take a deep breath and enter. When you enter you see your cat toys, remembering those moments that you play with her, then you see your dog smelling the toys and looking for your cat all over the room making you feel worse so you quickly looked for your clothes and leave. Now you just wait for your mother in the living room but then you hear the door so you went to open it and you get surprised seeing Kid.

-Oh ... good morning-Kid says-Did you sleep last night?

-No-You say looking down

-Of course, what a stupid question-Kid says whispering angrily at himself but then he notices your clothes-Are you leaving?

-Yes, do you need anything?-You say and he notices the sadness in your voice

-I wanted to invite you out so you won't be in the house and to get distracted a bit, maybe to the beach-Kid says and you look at him-But if you don't want to, we'll leave it for tomorrow

-That sounds like a good idea-Your mom say walking towards you two-Although she doesn't like the beach very much

-We will just go sit over there, the beach is a good place to relax-Kid says

-Do you want to go with him? the beach is better than grandpa house-She say

-But what about you?-You say
