Morning after

Hopes pov:
I expected to wake up alone like I did every morning for the past two years but it was different this beautiful human being was laying with me and for the first time in two years I felt safe and free I open my eyes and look over to the brown haired girl next to me she was still sound asleep I can't help but stare at her she looks so beautiful and peaceful when she's asleep oh how I missed her I will never forgive myself for leaving her

"Are you going to keep staring at me it's kinda creepy" She said with a sleepy voice but it still sounded to angelic

"Maybe I haven't decided yet" I say teasing

"Well I need to get up and call Lizzie because I forgot to text her last night"

"Okay" I say "well I can't get up if you still have your arm around me so like may I get up"

"No." "What do you mean no I need to get up now come on" she goes to get up but I hold my ground

"Let me go before I.." "before you what you can't do anything" I start to laugh then I feel her arms adjust as soon as she did that she started tickling me why do I have to be ticklish after what felt like forever of her tickling me I gave up and let her go

"Ha see I win" "you only win because I gave up so I technically let you win" I say "so I still won" "technically no" "oh please hope go be butt hurt somewhere else" "I'm not but hurt"

"Okay whatever you say" she said getting up out of the bed the way her hair falls when she just get out of bed and oh those legs I wish she could stay in bed with me all day my thoughts where cut off by her phone starting to ring

Josies pov:
I pick up my phone and answer it not bothering to look at the caller ID

"Hello" "thank god your alive I've been calling all night Josie you said you wouldn't do this again" "first of all I said I would try and not do it again and plus it wasn't my fault I stayed at hopes because the roads got bad and Hope offered to let me stay with her so I took her up on that offer" "So that's why your Muppet of a boyfriend or little bitch called me and before you yell at me I was just about the little bitch part...well just a little" she mumbled last part but I still heard her but I also didn't feel like arguing "okay I'll call him back when I get home" "no need he's here waiting for you you are aware it's Christmas right" "oh my goddess I have to get home I haven't wrapped any of your guys present cover for me and absolutely don't tell him anything" "okay but you better hurry" and with that I hung up the phone

"So who was that" I almost for got she was behind me

"Oh it's was Lizzie"

"And why does she have to cover for you it's not like we did anything bad"

"Just I- umm I told her to cover for me because my dad will kill me if he found out I was out a whole night my I did the first time you know" it's wasn't a whole lie I will still get in trouble for being out all night

"Okay so you have to go when?"

"Right now actually" "oh wait I got you something it was from when we were dating I guess I never got to give it to you"

"Aw you didn't have to get me anything"

"I know but here" she said handing me a dark blue box I opened it to find a heart shaped necklace I took it out the box and open the locket to find a old picture of me and her hugging and laughing it was beautiful

"Thank you it's beautiful can you put it on for me" "yea come here" as she put it on me I got goosebumps everywhere she touched after she was done putting it on we stayed like that for a while I could feel the tension so I cut it short and turned to face her
