As we're driving to the hotel Caitlin called her mom to tell her to keep a lookout for Evelyn on the news just in case they find something I was so worried that I started picking at my nails and bouncing my leg uncontrollably I felt a hand go on my leg I look over and see Josies hand on my thigh

"Hey it will be okay I promise"

"You don't know that"

"Yea i know I don't know that but something in me tells me that everything will" she looked at me with a soft smile

I just turned the other way and looked out the window when I did that she removed her hand oh how I missed the Comfort in her touch I was so lost in thought to notice that we got to the hotel

"Hope were here" Josie said

I just nodded my head and got off the car and Josie and Caitlin did the same

"Josie you can go we got it here"

"No I'm staying in the reason she's missing"

"I guess you can stay I can probably use your help"

"Help with what" Caitlin asked

"I'll tell you when we get into the hotel"

We walk up to my room and we get there and Caitlin just looks at me blankly I walk over to my suit case and pull out my stuffed animal

"How is a stuffed animal going to help me find my daughter!"

"Okay now I'm going to ask you to not freak out because if you do I'm going to have to ask Josie to put you to sleep"

"Why did you put your magic in a stuffed animal"

"You can ask later but right now I don't have time to explain anything I need to find Evelyn"

"Cat wake up" I shake her but she doesn't get up

"Get me a cup with water in it"

"Just stop asking questions do it" she stands up and goes to the kitchen and comes back with water

"Okay here" I pore the water on Caitlin

"WHAT IM UP!"

"Cat you okay"

"Either I'm on something or your a witch" she said calming down

"No your not on something I am a witch but I need your blood to track Evelyn"

"Okay only because I need to find her but you and I need to have a conversation after this is over"

"Okay we will Josie can you give me a knife out of my purse"

"You carry a knife in your bag"

"Yea a woman is never safe" I say as Josie hands me my knife

"Okay now hand me your palm"
