The unexpected meeting

Writers note:
Hey guys sorry I have an update in a while I had finals all this week and I still have about four more finals to go but I felt like you guys deserve to chapter so here's the chapter that I'm pretty sure y'all been waiting for

Josies pov:
Despite the way I've been feeling these past years I always just try and seem happy for everyone else but at night I cry myself to sleep thinking about her I tried calling and text her to explain what actually happened but no answer so I'm guessing either she changed her phone number or she blocked me but me and Lizzie been together most of the time there is sometimes she notices I'm not doing fine but she mainly just shrugs it off she didn't always do that but about a year ago I yelled at her to leave me be and worry about her own mental health instead of me and she did exactly that but I just smile and nod my head anytime someone ask us if I'm okay but this week we're going to visit my mom she been distant from us so we're going over there for Lizzie and my mom

"Hey Josie how you doing with college" my mother asked me

"Oh it's fine" I say

"Omg mom tell me why I seen this cute boy his name a Josiah he was so cute i sat next to him in my drama class" Lizzie said

"Oh that's great hunny but how are your grades in college" Caroline asked

"It's great I have 3 As and two Bs but one C" Lizzie said

"And what about you Josie" I heard her but I couldn't answer for some reason I was stuck in my own head

"Josie Josie jo" as soon as I heard her say that nickname I grew mad

"Don't call me that!" I said sorta yelling

"I'm sorry Josie I was just trying to get your attenti-" before my mom could finish I walked away from them going into the backyard

I got into the backyard and I sat down taking my shoes off and dipping them in the pool water

Lizzies pov:
Josie ran out I know she doesn't like being called jo anymore but she didn't have to be rude about it

"What happened to Josie is she okay" mom asked

"No she's still heart broken about you know who" I said explaining why she left

"Yea she just needs time" mom said to me

"Pfft time it's been 2 years" I say crossing my arms

"Time helps but you can't tell how long anyways go ask your sister if she wants to go out with you into town" mom suggested

"And what do you expect us to do" I ask

"I don't know but help her get her mind off of her and plus I have some business to take care of now run along"

"Ugh whatever" I say leave to the backyard

Josies pov:
I was stupid for yelling at my mom she was just trying to help I should apologize but as soon as I said that I felt a tear fall ugh the water works again just get over it Josie then I felt a hand on my back

"Hey Josie mom said that we should go out into town and go shopping what do you say want to come" Lizzie said rubbing my back

"Yea sorry I shouted at you and mom it wasn't your guys fault" I say taking my feet out the water

"It's okay Josie let's just go have fun"

"Yea okay let me grab my phone from inside" I said grabbing my shoes

I run inside and apologize to my mom and grab my phone me and Lizzie hop in the car we get to some place where there's a whole bunch of stores to shop at but our first stop is at the ice cream place I get plain old vanillas and Lizzie gets chocolate chunk after that we walk around for a little bit when we pass a baby store I don't why but my eyes were distracted by Auburn haired girl but then she disappeared into one of the aisle I didn't think anything of it until I heard Lizzie gasp

"Lizzie are you okay" I said in panic

"Is that hope" omg I swear I'm never going out with her again

"Lizzie don't be ridiculous now let's go" I say trying to grab her

"The only place we're going is in that store" as much as I wanted to go she grabbed my arm I mainly didn't want to see her even if it was her I'm not ready to talk to her not yet

"Lizzie no!" I say but she drags me into the store

We go down a couple of aisles then Lizzie stops leaving me hiding in a section of the other aisle

"Lizzie stop" I say trying to whisper

Lizzie pov:
I went down multiple aisle then I got to the one she was on and it was her hope Andrea mikaelson right in front of me I heard Josie say something then I seen hope turn around really quickly so it gave me no time to hide

"Elizabeth is that you" she said walking more closer

"Hiii" I said awkwardly

"Omg wow you look amazing how are you and your siste-" she stopped at sister but she looked hurt

"Oh we're fine and you you had a baby wow looks like you've had fun" I said laughing awkwardly

"Actuall- forget it tell Josie I said hi" she tried to walk away but Josie came out from hiding

Josies pov:

"Actually hello hope no text or call but you know what congrats on the baby have a wonderful life" and with that I grabbed Lizzie and dragged her all the way back to the car

"What we're you thinking you know I haven't been myself than you drag me into a store with her non the least" I started yelling at Lizzie

"I thought it would bring you closure" Lizzie said trying to explain

"No you made your choice to drag me into something I wasn't ready for GOD! Do you ever think about anyone but yourself!" I said yelling

"You know what don't answer that just take me home I don't want to talk to you" and with that we sat in silence the whole way back
