A/N: Hey everyone! Sorry that's it's been a while since this book was updated. I've been pretty busy with school and stuff. But here is the next chapter! I hope you all enjoy! :D
Sonic sped home to his small yet charming townhouse. He sat down on his couch, and thought about everything he'd just witnessed. Part of him was just in shock, while the other side of him had this tingling sensation in his gut that he prayed wasn't jealously.
Suddenly he realized how amazing Amy was. From her beautiful smile, to her long, pink hair that always seemed to flow gracefully in the wind. She was a better person, and friend. Better than Sally, who only cared about his looks. "What have I done?" he asked himself. Why had he betrayed the one that he loved?
So, without hesitation, he realized what he needed to do. What he needed to do to get back Amy. His Amy. And Zane couldn't do anything about it.
At least, that's what Sonic thought.

Amy hummed her favorite song as she watered the colorful array of flowers outside her house. It had been about two days since her and Zane's...get together. Although she tried to deny it, Amy new that by "get together," she really meant a date.
The word itself made her hear skip a beat, considering the fact that this was her first real date. She had never went out with any guy before, despite the fact that she had always dreamed of going out with Sonic.
She sighed. She had too much on her mind. That's exactly why she and Cream had scheduled a girls day out. Cream explained how she'd planned a visit to the mall, spa, and even the finest restaurant on all of Hedgehog Island.
To be honest, spending time with her best friend was one of her favorite times in the world. It was like she could share all her sorrows and victories. No matter the news, she'd have someone to listen. Whenever she needed.
So, Amy slipped on a cute white sweater with red, fuzzy trims, as well as some skinny jeans. To finish off her look, she wore some cute red boots and a warm, burgundy hat to finish off her look.
"I'm all ready!" she said to herself.
Within about 15 minutes, Amy arrived at the local mall. Standing in front of the building was a smiling Cream, who quickly ran over to Amy and gave her a tight squeeze, to which the Rose happily returned.
"Hey, girl!" Cream exclaimed, excited to see her friend. "I'm so happy that you made it!"
Amy couldn't help but mimick her grin. "Yeah, me too. I've been so busy will school and stuff," she explained, happy to get a break.
Cream nodded in agreement. "Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's go!" she stated as she pulled Amy inside. Their first stop was "Forever 13." (It's pretty much the same thing as "Forever 21," but for younger teens.)
"So, what do you think of this one?" Cream asked her bestie, holding out an cropped-orange shirt with white pants, butterflies scattered on their sides.
Amy cocked her head, observing the outfit. "Hmm. It's cute. But do you have any others you like?" she asked, curiously.
Cream smiled as she quickly went into the dressing room, then out with a brown dress with white ruffles on the sleeves and a yellow, red, and orange-striped tie attached.
"I think that this one brings out my complexion," Cream commented. Then, she held up her other outfit, "But this one suits my age more." She was going to be a teenager soon. So, in Cream's mind, she needed to dress like one.
Amy shook her head and smiled. "Well, honestly, their both really cute," she agreed.
Cream smiled. "Yeah...I think I'll just both," she decided, getting a giggle out of her friend.
At the spa, they both got manicures and pedicures, as well as some new nail jobs. Amy's were painted red and white, while Cream's were orange and yellow.
After that, they both ate at a restaurant called "Too Sweet to Eat," on the South side of their home.
"Wow," both girls exclaimed. They knew that the restaurant was going to be big, but not this big. Both girls were in awe as they were escorted to their seats.
"Thank you," they said to their escort.
Cream looked over to Amy, who looked lost in thought. "So, how are you doing, Ames?" she asked. "I know that you've been pretty busy lately."
Amy smiled as she saw her BFF's concern for her. "Yeah. We have a big Civics test coming up. Plus, I've kind of been a little preoccupied with," Amy blushed. "...Zane, and everything."
Cream smirked as she saw the redness on Amy's cheeks. "Mhmmmm..." she teased, smiling as Amy's blush got darker.
But before the blushing rose could reply, a waiter had came to their table. "Hello," the said. "My name is Gianna, and I will be assisting you today," she explained. "Please tell me what you'd like, when your ready."Amy and Cream scanned their menus. Then, Amy spoke up, "Umm...I think I'll have the steak with the tropical salad with lemonade, please."
Gianna then turned to Cream, "And you, Miss?"
"I think I'd like the shrimp with the pesto noodles with sweet tea, please."
Within a few minutes of the usual chatter, their food was already at the table.
"So, how have you and Tails been," Amy asked Cream, who blushed at that sentence.
Cream tried to shrug, but struggled. "Eh, the usual. He asked me on a date, last night," she grinned, taking a bit of her shrimp.
Amy's mouth dropped open with suprise and happiness. "Really? That's great, Cream!" she congratulated. "So are you two officially a couple, now?"
Cream blushed, but shyly nodded her head.
Amy smirked at that, and continued eating.
About an hour later, the two were at home. However, they couldn't even go a few minutes without talking on the phone again.
"I had really fun today, Cream," Amy smiled.
"Me too, Amy! I wish we could do it more often."
Amy sighed, wishing that they could spend more quality time together. "Yeah, me too. But I'm glad that we got to have a girls day today."
Cream grinned in agreement. "Welp, I'll talk to you tomorrow. Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Cream."
And with that, both girls were sound asleep, dreaming about seeing each other, and their new crushes, again.
A/N: I hoped you guys really liked the chapter! It might be just a little short, but I hope it was enjoyable, anyway! Also, if you are a Sonic fan, he will be redeemed! He is the antagonist, but not necessarily the villain. See you soon! ❤︎
