With a huge bouquet of several different flowers, and a rectangular velvet box in his hands, Michael walked down the hallway of one of the top fashion studios the world had- White Diamonds. He faced no problems whatsoever entering or reaching where he wanted to because he was the only person that needed no appointments or formalities to be there. He was the only person allowed without any questions.
Soon enough, he was in front of a large glass door to the office room that belonged to the owner of the brand and one of his closest friends ever.
Knock!
Knock!
He knocked and then opened the door, taking a step inside. "Elizabeth," he said in a soft voice instantly getting the attention of the woman who had her back facing him as she was checking another of her dresses on a mannequin. She was quick to turn to face him. He smiled and Elizabeth let out a breath, shaking her head with a tiny frown.
"Michael Jackson, you have no idea how mad I am at you." she told him as she made her way towards him where he was still standing at the door with a silly smile upon his face, his bottom lip between his teeth.
"I'm so sorry." he apologized softly, looking at her with his huge eyes, giving her the bouquet and the box. She clicked her tongue, shaking her head and then went in to hug him warmly. He was quick to complete their embrace as he closed his eyes, feeling so incredibly happy to meet the person who meant so much to him after so many rough months.
"No information. Your phone number changed. No calls or texts. You just disappeared for months." she said in a stern tone as they pulled away. "And then you apologize." she scolded.
He clicked his tongue. "Liz, I promise I didn't mean to disappear. I was..." he let out a breath. "I was in a very bad place." he said. She sighed as she held his hand and lead him to the couch placed in her office room.
"You are going to tell me everything. No beating around the bush. No secrets." she said with raised brows as they got settled and she placed the bouquet near her on the couch and then opened the box, revealing a beautiful diamond bracelet with varying diamond cuts and a similar diamond ring, both set in platinum. Elizabeth let out a small breath of awe as she admired the exceptional piece of jewelry given to her by her close friend.
Michael loved buying jewelry for his mother and Elizabeth Taylor... only these two, or the woman he was with, and now it was Kiara and she forever will be.
"So beautiful. Thank you, Michael." She showed her gratitude but then raised her brows. "But you cannot get away with my questions. So tell me." She said and he sighed, nodding. Michael came prepared about the questions that he had anticipated from her and he was ready to talk. He then told her everything that had happened with him and to him in the past nine months. He went into as much details as he could, without sounding ridiculous or crazy. It was as if he was waiting for someone to listen to him, whatever he needed and wanted to say.
Elizabeth just sat there analyzing and absorbing everything that she had listened to. She was feeling several emotions all at once. She was heartbroken to know what all Michael had to go through all alone. She was glad that he found such wonderful people who helped him. She was so worried because of the mess he had put himself into with the whole Violet situation. She was angry that he got disappeared for months but she also now understood why he had to do that.
She let out a breath as she looked at Michael. "So you came back and the first thing you did was: shut the company you literally were establishing for Violet- who by the way is not your fiancée anymore." she made it clear and Michael nodded. "She still doesn't know why you're doing what you're doing and you fell in love with Kiara."
