CHAPTER:11 || Complicated

First week of June, and it was one complete month since Michael started living with Zach and Emily. Also, it was the day of Emily and Kiara's college party as this would be their last week of college.

There have been thoughts in Michael's head. Several thoughts and these thoughts weren't completely about how he ended up in this new world, but something else. About a certain someone. Since that small but meaningful surprise that Kiara had prepared for him, his mind has been completely restless. It's been three days, but he couldn't stop thinking about what all she did for him. All for him.

Why did she do that for me?

Why would she put so much efforts just to cheer me up?

She remembered. She remembered what I told her about my love for kids and she made me so happy.

These were the thoughts that were constantly buzzing through his brain. Plus, Kiara hasn't visited them since that surprise party she threw for him and he found himself missing her terribly. He wanted to talk to her, spend some time with her. Moreover, it's been over a week since he'd sent her that follow request on Instagram, but she never accepted it, although he had talked to her about it face to face and he was extremely confused why wouldn't she accept his request. It was something really small, but it was still bugging him.

Emily however was super happy since the party. Instead of Zach, she would prepare breakfast. She wouldn't leave a single chance to have a conversation with Michael. She would talk to him about her day at college and she would take advice from him about singing and writing songs. And she would make sure to tell Kiara about all of this. Emily told Kiara how she and Michael were getting closer everyday. She told Kiara how he was so secretive but still he was sharing stuff about himself with her which was a bit of an exaggeration. She told Kiara how she knew his favorite color was red, how he loved mexican food. She told Kiara how Michael told her some stuff about his childhood. She was absolutely rubbing this all on Kiara's face, exaggerating stuff, just to prove Michael and her were getting along so well. And according to Kiara it just made more sense as Michael was living with Emily.

It was after the lunch, that Zach decided to go to the studio as Emily was at Kiara's since the morning. They were having their college party in the evening and they were both together and then would get ready and leave from Kiara's house.

Michael, like always had nothing better to do than to watch movies, however, since a few days, his mind was ringing with this particular melody that he found himself humming. He didn't had complete lyrics for this melody yet, but there was this one line in that melody, that in itself was too strong in his head.

"Speechless... Speechless... That's how you make me feel." He hummed that one line over and over as he kept laying on the couch, watching the movie. He then shot up sitting straight, and froze for a few moments, then instantly ran to his room, grabbed a notepad and a pen and starting scribbling as he put his cell phone on recording and started humming.

"Speechless... Speechless... That's how you make me feel. Though I'm with you I am far away and nothing is for real..." He sang softly as he kept scribbling. "When I'm with you I am lost for words... I don't know what to say. My head's spinning like a carousel, so silently I pray..." He sang happily. He was in some another world. He was in pure bliss. There was a huge smile on his face as he kept singing and scribbling. The words, as if were pouring out of his heart like a free waterfall.

Hours went by swiftly and those were the most beautiful hours for him since that party. And then it hit him. That's where he got his inspiration from. From those kids. Like many other times before, the kids were his inspiration again. When he finally was done pouring whatever he had in his mind, he stretched his arms as he let out a huge breath. When he finally was back to reality, and let his eyes wander around, he noticed that it was already evening and the sun was almost down.
