I woke and checked the time, it was Monday and I had to go to school. I didn't want to get out of bed, I turned over and Quincy was laying next to me. He looked so cute when he was sleeping. I really didn't want to wake him, but I had to before my mom came in."Quincy wake up", I said and started shaking him.
"What ma?", he asked groggily.
"You have to go because I have to go to school today.", I said then I got out of bed and stared him with my arms crossed.
"Don't worry about it ill take you.", he said, turning over and snoring again.
I accepted his offer and didn't decided to leave him alone. I took a shower and tried to figure out what to wear. I decided to wear skinny jeans, and black off the shoulder shirt, and black sandals. I kept my hair in a bun because I was too tired to do it.
"I'm ready", I told Quincy as I walked in on him still asleep.
I watched him sit up, rub his eyes, and get out of bed and get dressed."Why you watching me?", he asked as he put on his shoes.
"I don't know...can we go now?", I asked, trying to change the subject.
He grabbed his car keys off the floor. "Lets roll."
"Wait." I said.
"Something wrong?" he asked.
"No, I just need to see if my mom is here." I said. I could never really tell with my mom whether she would be home or not. I just knew that if I was going to have someone over, I had to be cautious.
I walked into the hall and saw my moms bedroom door open. The bed was made up nice and neat.
I went downstairs and checked the living room and kitchen, she was gone. I ran back upstairs to my room.
"The coast is clear." I smiled and we out to his car. We jumped in his car and sped off to my school."So do you like school?", Quincy asked as he turned the corner.
"Not really.", I said.
"Why not?", he asked then he sat his hand on my leg.
"There's this girl named Courtney that I hate so much.", I said.
"Why don't you beat her up?", he asked.
"Because I'm afraid her parents might sue me or send me to jail.", I said.
"Do you need me to handle her?", he asked, putting his hand on his pocket where his gun was.
"Nope", I shook my head. "I think she is just hating because I'm the captain of the cheer squad and she ain't."
"Damn girl. You a cheerleader?", he asked with a smirk.
"Yes. But I think I'm going to have to quit because I cant afford it anymore", I said.
"What happened to the stack I gave you?", he asked.
"I'm saving it for college", I said.
"You know...if you needed college money I could have just paid for the whole thing.", he said.
"No thanks." I said. I hated when people tried to help me. I was so used to being independent because my mom was never really around and I was really starting to get used to it.
I looked out my window and saw my huge school. "There's my school." I pointed at it.
He pulled up in front of the school and kissed me on the cheek,"Ill pick you up", he said.
"You sure?" I asked him. I couldn't believe he was going out of his way and being so nice to me. Most guys would have took advantage of me last night and left before I awoke.
