Quincys Point Of View

I stood there and watched her fall asleep, she looked so adorable. I walked over to her and kissed on the cheek and put cover on her.

"QUINCY", Kyree yelled.

"You need to see this", he said.

I ran in the room and looked at the TV and saw me and Lelani picture on the news. "Damn it", I said,"Turn that up."

News Reporter: "The search is on for Quincy King and Lelani Donovan, they were last seen at a Compton high school were 16 year old Courtney Stone was shot and killed. Investigators believe that the two were involved in that murder."

"Fuck they think had Lelani killed Courtney", I said.

"Damn dog what you going to do?", Kyree asked.

"I don't know", I said, "I'm tired of running."

"They don't have a good chance of finding y'all. All you have to do is watch who you bring in and out of here and don't go back to Cali", he said.

"Mann Lelani ain't nothing", I said, "No matter what I do I seem to fuck up every time."

"Its not your fault", he said,"You were just trying to protect her."

"What is she going to think when she wake up and see her picture on the news saying she killed somebody?", I asked.

"She might kill yo ass", he said in laughter.

"I'm not being funny this is serious", I crossed my arms.

"Look say anything just let her find out on her own and make tonight a romantic night", he said.

"You right", I said.

"I'm about to roll out and find me a little hoe to spend my night with.", he said and then he left.

I went in the room, pulled up a chair, and watched Lelani sleep.
