Funny seeing you here

Enola walks past strangers. She looks into shops. She looks through the crowd. She looks desperately for any sign of him.
But he is no were to be seen.

She walks for a while before she decides to take a break, he is harder to find than she had previously thought.

She walks into a cafe which isn't  that crowded. Only a few people enjoying their day. But on the other hand she wonders if they are actually enjoying their day or if they are just putting on a smile to get through the day, waiting for it to be over.

She sits at a booth and looks at the menu.

"Go ask that girl there what she wants...." some other words are said but she can't hear them well "No on table 5!" She hears this person (who she assumes is the boss)  whisper shout to the waiter.

He must be new. She thinks.

Wait table 5...that's me. She looks to see who the waiter is to see if she could find out more

(deduction games are fun for her: figuring out what people are like by the look and sound of them, it sounds mean but it is fun for her, people just don't understand because she's ✨different✨)

and suddenly she sees a particular person. The person taking her order

Oh my- is that tewky?! Oh Jesus
He's even more handsome in person.
God damn...

She has a cheeky grin.
She covers her face with the menu and waits for him to get to her table.

"Hello m'am what would you like today?" He says.

wow he has a thick accent she thinks.

While he looks down at the notepad in his hands, she sits up confidently and uncovers her face.
"Just a coffee please," she says "black."

He looks up to see her.

Hold on is that- god she is even more gorgeous in person

Damn I wonder if she's single- SHUT UP SHUT UP you've had only a few conversations with her calm down.

a huge smile comes onto his face, she smiles as-well.

"Oh wow, funny seeing you here." Enola says jokingly, her hand to her chest as if she is surprised.

He chuckles. He looks to see his boss turned away and sits opposite Enola.

"Why are you here?" He asks. She rolls her eyes. "Oh to get a tattoo." She says sarcastically and laughs. she hits him around the head "To see you, you moron, thought that was clear but obviously not."

He blushes  "Well thank you, my shift ends in like 15 minutes so-" she cuts him off "So you better go get me that coffee." He chuckles. He's got such a beautiful laugh She thinks

"I'll get that and-" his boss spots him. "Hey boy stop mucking around and do your job!" Tewky pinches the bridge of his nose and shakes his head.

"That's me." He says getting up.

"A black coffee!" She shouts to remind him and he waves her off in reply showing he remembered.
