In an old castle in one of the mountain regions of Austria, sat Evelyn Grindelwald neé Potter. She sat her mirror, getting herself ready for when she would be able to see her baby boy once again. It has been almost thirteen years since she last saw him, she and her husband had to give him up as soon he was born, it wasn't safe for the baby with Voldemort hanging over their heads.

When she was dressed, she made her way down to the kitchens, and started preparing breakfast for herself and father-in-law. It got lonely in the castle, just the two of them. Gellert's previous carer, Maria Gruber, her mother-in-law, had passed away three years ago. Evelyn finished making breakfast and took it to Gellert's room, which was his cell also.

She placed the food down on the mahogany table and sat down at the opposite head of the table.

"Father!" she called, hearing the older man. An old man, with a white, neatly trimmed haircut and beard, opened the door, his mismatched eyes landing on the food.

"Thank you," Grindelwald said quietly, he hadn't talked loudly since his downfall. "Isn't Johnny on his way today?"

Evelyn nodded happily.

"Who's bringing him?"

"Albus," Evelyn said quietly, but Gellert heard. His already pale face paled more. Yes, the former lovers made amends after 1945, but it had been almost twenty years since they saw each other, and almost eighty years since they loved each other, yet Gellert still loved Albus with all his heart.

At twelve o'clock, a loud pop echoed throughout the grounds, signalling someone had appearated. Evelyn, who heard this from her bedroom window rushed down to the gardens, where she saw her former Headmaster and a boy who looked exactly like her husband.

"I know you are there, Evelyn," Dumbledore chuckled, noticing the blonde hide behind a pillar.

"Hell0, Professor," Evelyn smiled. Her eyes landed on her son, and she couldn't help the tears that welled up in her eyes. He was exactly like his father in terms of looks, dress sense, and manners.

"Hello, mum," Johnny smiled, taking his mother's hand in his and kissing the back of it. Evelyn sobbed, and wrapped her arms tightly him, burying her head in his chest. Evelyn felt Johnny smile against her head, his arms coming to wrap around her. Johnny was taller than her, standing at 5'8 at thirteen, while she was only 5'6.

"However much I love family reunions," Dumbledore interrupted the touching moment between the mother and son. "Shall we move inside, I am afraid the cold is becoming a bit to much."

Evelyn and Johnny laughed, both nodding. Evelyn led Johnny and Dumbledore throughout the Castle, until they came to Gellert's door. Evelyn knocked gently, hearing a faint 'come in' from the other side. Evelyn opened the door, motioning for Albus and Johnny to step in first, which they both denied, Johnny letting the Headmaster and his mother in first while opening the door.

"Albus," Gellert said, averting his eyes from his former lover down to his plate and back up to who he assumed was his Grandson. "And you must be Johnny?"

"I am," Johnny smiled politely, sitting down next to his Grandfather when Gellert motioned to the seat.

"We have a lot to talk about," Gellert managed to pull a strained smile.
