To Johnny, this summer was even better than the last. He and Evelyn had moved into the original Potter Manor back in England, and Hermione was staying at Johnny's house for the summer.

"Morning, beautiful ," Johnny yawned on the morning of July 24th, his eyes opening to see Hermione led on his chest, smiling up at Johnny tiredly. Johnny placed a tender kiss to her lips, savouring the taste, before he pulled away.

"Good morning," Hermione said, placing her head in the crook of Johnny's neck, inhaling the scent of his cologne from the previous night. Hermione finally got up and stretched, causing Johnny's jumper to rise up and show her pyjama shorts. "Perv," Hermione shot playfully at Johnny, noticing how her boyfriend was watching her.

"I'm a thirteen year old boy with an extremely beautiful girlfriend," Johnny defended, smirking at Hermione who was blushing at his compliment. "And don't think I didn't see you drooling at my shirtless self yesterday when I was gardening."

Hermione blushed madly, threw a sock at Johnny and entered the en-suite bathroom with fresh clothes in her arms. Ten minutes later, once both Hermione and Johnny were finished getting ready for the day, they headed downstairs to see Evelyn cooking breakfast, the Muggle radio blasting REO Speedwagon in the background.

"Good morning," Evelyn smiled, turning the radio down a little and motioning to the table. "We're going to visit some friends of mine after breakfast, so eat up."

Breakfast was over in a flash, and like that Evelyn had apparated the three of them to a rather large bungalow in the middle of a field. It was rather nice, with white painted walls, a large front garden. A man with shoulder length black hair was sitting at the garden table, a mug of hot coffee and yesterday's edition of the Daily Prophet in front of him. Next to him sat a brown haired man, with two scars running down his face, drinking a mug of hot chocolate.

"Padfoot! Mooney!" Evelyn called happily, speeding away from Hermione and Johnny, both seemingly distracted by different things. Hermione was staring across the field at a large pond, a deck and rowing boat was there too. Johnny on the other hand was staring at Hermione in awe. Hermione was wearing a yellow sundress and brown sandals, her hair was its usual self and it was blowing behind her in the small breeze.

"What?" Hermione asked, noticing Johnny staring at her.

"You're just perfect," Johnny smiled, kissing her forehead. Hermione smiled shyly.

"Johnny! Stop being a simp and say hello to your Uncle Sirius and Uncle Remus!" Evelyn yelled across the field. Johnny groaned, before taking Hermione's hand and walking towards the adults.

"Jeez, Evie, you never mentioned he was the spitting image of Jakob," Sirius said, shaking Johnny and Hermione's hands. "And you must be Hermione, the girl who's got Johnny so smitten. I'm Sirius, this is my husband Remus."

Remus shook both their hands and turned towards Sirius.

"Where's Dani?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Still in bed," Sirius groaned. He motioned for Hermione and Johnny to follow him, and they obliged. Sirius led them through the bungalow before stopping at a door. The older man raised a finger to his lips, before conjuring a bucket of water and opened the door to the bedroom. A girl who resembled both Remus and Sirius greatly was led in bed, snoring quietly, unaware of what her father was about to do.

"SHIT!" The girl shrieked as the ice cold water hit her. "Dad! What the fuck?!"

"Up you get, Dani," Sirius grinned at her, before motioning to Johnny and Hermione. "We have guests."

Dani blushed furiously as she looked at Johnny, mumbling a small hello before rushing to the en-suite bathroom.

"She's not normally that shy," Sirius said, leading Hermione and Johnny back to where Evelyn and Remus were sat around the table outside.

"She likes you," Hermione whispered in Johnny's ear as they sat down opposite the three adults.

"Hermione Jean, are you jealous?" Johnny whispered back, smirking at Hermione who looked away shyly, but nodded.

"Hey," Johnny said, lifting her chin so they could look into each other's eyes. Johnny could see it in Hermione's eyes. She was feeling insecure. "You're extremely beautiful, kind-hearted, caring, funny, honest, confident, smart as hell, passionate and just all around amazing."

"Really?" Hermione whispered, blushing.

"Definitely."

Hermione's confidence rose just as Dani sat next to Remus. They all talked for a while, getting to know each other when the Daily Prophet owl dropped of today's edition. Sirius was drinking his coffee and picked up the Prophet at the same time, when he spat out his coffee after reading the front page.

"What? What is it?" Evelyn asked, patting Sirius on the back. Sirius threw the Prophet down and everyone around the tables paled.

Jakob Gellert Grindelwald, possibly the most infamous prisoner ever to be held in Azkaban fortress, has broken out of said fortress, the Ministry of Magic confirmed today.

"We are doing all we can to recapture Grindelwald," said the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, this morning, "and we beg the magical community to remain calm."

Fudge has been criticised by some members of the International Confederation of Wizards for informing the Muggle Prime Minister of the crisis.

"Well, really, I had to, don't you know," said an irritable Fudge. "Grindelwald is mad. He's a danger to anyone who crosses him, magic or Muggle. I have the Prime Minister's assurance that he will not breathe a word of Grindelwald's true identity to anyone. And let's face it - who'd believe him if he did?"

While Muggles have been told that Black is carrying a gun (a kind of metal wand that Muggles use to kill each other), the magical community lives in fear of a massacre like that of twelve years ago, when Grindelwald murdered thirteen people with a single curse.

"How did he do that?" Dani asked, clutching onto Remus's arm.

"I have no idea," said Evelyn, examining her husbands mugshot.

"Only a very powerful Dark Wizard would be able to breakout of Azkaban," said Remus, not looking up from the article.

"What're you suggesting, Remus?" Evelyn sneered.

"Well, Jakob was your brothers secret keeper and was framed for selling them out and killing twelve Muggles and Peter," Remus said. "Maybe he really was a Dark Wizard, and maybe he broke out to finish what Voldemort started, to kill Harry."

Johnny and Hermione stayed silent, not knowing enough about the situation to put an opinion in, but Evelyn looked conflicted.
