Saturday night and I was heading over to Gray's house to meet his childhood friends that lived around the area. He told me they wanted to meet me since he talked so much about me.I hope he didn't mention how I left his place because my assumption of another woman he loved was surprisingly true. I think one of his next-door neighbors had seen me leave his place.
He did mention a woman and her girlfriend that lived next door that he knew from his hometown. She probably won't like me because of what I did.
I had finally arrived at Gray's house to see there were other cars parked around his area. I've been to his place a couple of times so I know when there are new people that come over. I turned off the engine in my car so I could get out and lock the doors.
It was a little chilly outside so I ran to the front door. As I was standing outside at the front door I could hear people on the other side. There was a lot of movement going ok inside. I guess they were all still setting up everything inside.
Before I could even knock on the door somebody had opened it. Gray was at the door breathing a bit hard and smiling. "Hey Lucy glad you can make it," he said moving out the way so I could enter. "Hi, Gray!" I greeted him with a smile and gave him a peck on the lips. He closed the door behind me making the chilliness go away.
"Sorry, I'm a little late, there was a wreck on my way here," I apologized because he said to be here by 6:30 and I was here by 7:00. "It's fine, you arrived on time for our next round," he said shrugging it off. "And just in time to meet everybody before some of them leave for work and school tomorrow," he said as some of his friends came into view.
A tall guy with white hair was walking up to me with a beer in his hand. "You must be the lovely Lucy, Gray has talked a lot about you, by the way, I'm a big fan," he said with a nice accent. "I'm guessing you're Lyon, Gray's god-brother," I knew his name because Gray mentioned and also showed a picture of him.
"Yes, and childhood friend," he said adding on. "You idiot almost everybody here is a childhood friend," Gray rolled his eyes. "But I'm the number one since I practically knew you before you had met them," he smoothly said. I just laughed at their little back and forth they had with each other.
Lyon had looked at me and took a sip of his beer before he said: "You know he's been waiting for you to get here," he smirked. "Really!" I playfully said looking at Gray. "Yeah while we were playing our first round he kept looking at the door to see if you were going to knock," he snickered making Gray look away from me.
"That's why when we heard your car pull up he ran to the door to open it for you," he said pointing at Gray. "Aww that's so sweet of you Gray," I cutely said. "Yeah let's not mention it," he said pulling me away from Lyon.
I giggled a little at how embarrassed he was. Typical siblings do that to each other. I know they aren't blood, but you don't have to necessarily be blood to see each other as brothers. We had stopped in front of two girls that were holding a bowl of popcorn and chips.
"Hey Ultear, I want you to meet somebody," Gray said showing me to them. "Oh, your girlfriend," she looks me up and down in an unsatisfied way. "Yes this is Lucy!" he said smiling. "Nice to finally meet you," a girl with pink hair said smiling. I'm guessing this is Meredy, Ultear's girlfriend.
"You're Ultear and Meredy, correct?" I asked extending my hand out as Meredy gladly shook it. "Yes we are his next-door neighbors," she excitedly said. "Gray has talked so much about you," she said. "Yes, I expected a lot better," Ultear said disagreeing with her. Okay, as I predicted, Ultear hates me and Meredy seems to like me along with Lyon.
