(HAIIIII. I'M BACK. PLS LIKE AND COMMENT. prefer for cuteness. I LOVE YOU 💖)
(i'll be italicizing korean words from now on. also, i'm back i'm back . wattpad was missed. enjoy !)
one of the first performances of the semester was coming up in the next two weeks and it had everyone on edge.
hoseok had increased the number of practices to all five days of the school week until after the show. it was understandable being that only two days out of the week wasn't enough for crunch time.
the perfectionist in hoseok jumped out whenever there was a performance coming up. you remembered how frustrated he used to get back in high school. dance instructor hoseok was his alter ego. he really did test your limits but the outcome was always perfect.
you noticed that you and hoseok had your little 'meetings' more frequently. they were much more quick and harsh, but all the more intoxicating. it seemed to relax him a bit.
another thing you noticed was how much more quiet
jin was. you knew jin loved his alone time but you'd never see him by himself during practice. jin was the flame who kept everyone alive when they were
dwindling down.jin isn't a slow learner— you know he isn't. he never keeps hobi behind schedule and he always comes to practice just as well as anyone else.
however, you knew jin and you knew how hard he worked outside of practice hours. jin was amazing; he was born to perform really. but he also did need extra time outside of practice to work on things he couldn't get.
there was nothing wrong with that, especially when you had practice twice a week. no one would even know that jin needed extra practice because he always came to the next practice as if he could do it in his sleep.
with practice now being monday through friday, you knew in your gut that jin would be bearing the weight of all the last minute changes on his shoulders.
and even his broad shoulders couldn't hold the stress.
jin wasn't feeling like himself. he kept to himself the time and he was becoming increasingly more frustrated during every practice.
"hyung, come on. let's do it again. remember it's 1-2-3–" hoseok counts, his arms sharply moving the way he choreographed, "and 4– no, hyung, look. you're missing a step."
"ahhh, hoseok-ah, i fucking know! aishhhh..." jin runs his hands through his sweaty hair, exposing his forehead and furrowed eyebrows. he then turns around and walks straight towards the door, exiting the studio.
"fuck..." you muttered to yourself, stuck where you're planted on the ground in a dumbfounded way. yoongi and jimin immediately stand, following the frustrated man out.
everyone else just watches, not knowing how to react to the tension, which quickly irritates you. "alright, aren't we in the middle of practice? what the fuck are you all standing around for?"
hobi jumps at your words, but nods nonetheless. he can't walk out right now, he has a practice to run. "from the top everyone! let's go." everyone then scrambles to get in position.
hyunjin walks over and nudges you with his elbow toward the door. "go," he says simply, knowing that you want to.
you don't even hesitate, picking up three water bottles and walking towards the door.
