college is well... college.
you love what you're studying, of course. you would never have chosen to pay thousands of dollars to study a subject you didn't like, but that didn't mean that college wasn't a pain in the ass.
it was difficult. you spent many restless nights doing nothing but course work & many nights crying until you just decided to close your notebooks , binders, and laptop. you spent many nights wondering if it was all worth it the hardship.
the only thing that got you through the hard days were your boys.
you loved what you studied. you truly did, but college was just an overload of work and you just wished you could graduate already.
on the most difficult of days, all you needed was your best friends. when you were with them, all else seemed to disappear.
you were so busy today that you didn't even have time to meet up with the boys during lunch like you usually did. if not the entire group, it was at least one of them you'd see. it threw your entire day off track. all that mattered now was that you were there when jungkook got out of school.
he was a senior now, eager to join the rest of you at university. none of you could act like you weren't anticipating the day as well.
with your classes done for the day, you slung your bag over your shoulder and trudged out the doors onto campus.
you were so deep in thought that you didn't even notice taehyung striding next to you, trying hard to keep up with your pace.
"y/n?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow after you didn't answer the first few times he had called your name. he lips spread into a sweet boxy smile when he finally caught your attention, wiggling his eyebrows at you to make you smile. "my pretty girl... not having the best day, huh?"
you tangled your fingers with his, not bothering to respond as you blew your hair out of your face. tae got the message, squeezing your hand comfortingly while you gave him a smile in return. sometimes, it felt like there was no words needed between the two of you.
as you got closer to stepping off campus, the rest of the boys flocked to join you on the walk towards jungkook's school. it wasn't far, which you were grateful for— always eager to see your favorite bunny smile burst through the doors of the entrance.
upon returning back your hometown, things were a bit weird. "bangtan" was never a thing for you, but it was what the seven had coined themselves as. the name grew quite popular and now it seemed as if everyone on campus eyed you like you had something they wanted. but the boys weren't just "bangtan" to you— they were your home.
