Demon Slayer AU: SouthxSpain

This AU is inspired by the anime Demon Slayer. I say inspired because one of the authors hasn't finished watching the show yet, so some things might be a bit off from the actual thing

South sat on his throne in his respective room, playing with a fan he had and looked bored even with a smile plastered on their face. South's nose suddenly caught the scent of a slayer, but not just any slayer a hashira truly a dine meal fit for his demon status.

Spain took a deep breath, glaring up at the fort. He had travelled for days to get here, and he was going to say every single demon inside. At least, that's what he believed. He knew that the demons who lived here were the same ones who would terrorize his town every night, and Spain finally had enough of it.
"There won't be a single demon remaining to terrorize and kill my people once I'm through here." He murmured to himself, one hand on his hip and the other resting on the hilt of his blade.

South smiled once he heard those words.
"My my, how many normal demons has he killed? From the way he speaks be must have killed many." South said, lowering his head with his eyes closed and a smile,

Spain took another deep breath before walking inside, immediately killing any demon he saw. He seemed oddly relaxed, his movements swift and fluid, as if he'd been through this enough times to not be afraid of death.

South smiled in amusement of what he smelt, and laughed softly, he was the first upper moon demon to encounter, so he would battle him first, so this'll be cute to watch.

Spain made his way to South's throne room, his blade ripping through any demon that got in his way. Nothing was going to stop him from his goal. He'd almost lost his brother to a demon, and he wasn't going to let anything similar happen ever again. Countless had died at the hands of these demons, and Spain was determined to put an end to the cycle of death.

Spain immediately turned, chopping off the hand that was caressing his cheek.
"Don't touch me, filthy demon." Spain said, scowling.

South's hand regenerated without a second wasted and smiled at Spain
"My my, such a rude boy you are~"

South did his disappearing act, getting behind Spain and broke his sword watching it shatter like glass on the floor.

Spain gasped, staring at the broken pieces of his sword. He looked at South before picking up the largest piece of the broken blade. He was determined to kill every demon in this place, whether that was with a broken blade or a whole one. He took a deep breath, calming himself from the shock of the sword breaking. Spain then charged at South, moving faster than the eye could see.

South didn't move but felt the blade against his neck, it didn't cut any further, as if he was made of unbreakable stone, he smiled at Spain before kicking him upwards, breaking most of his ribs and bones as he hit the ceiling.

Spain grunted as he hit the ceiling, pain shooting through his body. He felt his bones snap and break, and he started falling back down to the ground. He couldn't move, a few of his broken bones jutting out through his skin when he tried. He had expected it to be hard to kill this particular demon, but not seemingly impossible.

South had caught Spain in his arms before he could hit the ground, and moved bones back into place, but not heal them, but if course numbed Spain so he couldn't feel the pain, and smiled down at the dizzy fellow.

Spain glared up at South. His head was pounding, and every little movement hurt. He was somewhat relieved when South numbed him, though he didn't trust South not to kill him the moment he passed out. Speaking of passing out, Spain was almost about to do that. He was seriously trying not to, but darkness was slowly overcoming him.

South smiled and set him down on the cushions of his soft throne, turning in into a bed and discarding Spain's blade, and drank tea as he put Spain in casts, and tied his down.

Spain did end up passing out, has face somewhat pale from the pain.

Spain woke up a few hours later, whatever South used to numb him having worn off. And holy hell did it hurt.

South looked at Spain , taking out a bottle and out it to his mouth, and gestured it were pain killers
"I broke your jaw so be careful when drinking"
His voice soothing and calm to anyone.

Spain glared distrustfully at South, on edge despite the demon's soothing tone.

South sighed, carefully grabbing Spain's chin and opened his mouth, and put the bottle in, and made him drink the damn juice. It was just Apple juice with a hint of lemon and pain killers- WHAT WAS TO HATE?-

Spain flinched and tried pulling away from South, ending up disturbing his injuries and putting himself in more pain. And the thing to hate was the fact that Spain was being forcefed painkillers by a demon.

South watched the bottle empty up, and put it away, caressing Spain's cheek
"Now isn't that all better?"
South said, feeling it work as he felt Spain's body numb out, and smiled softly.

Spain scowled, turning his head away from South in an attempt to get the demon to stop touching him. He felt a slight sense of relief as his body became numb, though he also felt fear due to the fact that he couldn't move.

South called in his tall white haired yellow tipped emo twin, and asked for him to heal the slayer, which the tall male looked at him confused and tired as always.

Spain glared at the two demons, his fingers twitching. He itched to just pull out a blade and kill the both of them, but he knew that he couldn't. His blade was broken, and he couldn't move.

Vatican sighed, walking up to Spain and looking down at his pathetic state, before putting his hand on the others forehead anf healing him, feeling abit petty and making the healing process a lot more painful.

Spain hissed quietly with pain as he was healed, though showed no other reaction other than anger.
