The Friend Zone

The next day came and I got to the dojo early because I had nothing better to do and waited for the guys to arrive. I then opened the door and around 20 new kids came cash-in-hand to sign up for the dojo after they heard that I kicked Kyler's a** a few days before. By 11.20 I had everyone signed up yet Eli wasn't there. My dad told me not to get my hopes up and that it didn't look like he was coming. I thought so too until the door opened to reveal Eli with a blue Mohawk, a short sleeved hoodie and a confide smirk wiped on his face. I was completely stunned as were the rest of us. "Eli what happened?" I said as everyone else seemed to be speechless. "I'm flipping the script princess" he winked at me and walked onto the mat and my dad shouted "hawk, fall in!" The way he called me princess was different. He sounded as if he was a confident guy who called everyone princess- of course I knew this wasn't the case. We carried on with training and Eli -or now known as Hawk invited me to his place to finish the last episode of a show we were watching. I of course said yes and I told him I'd get his mum some flowers after having me over so often. Me and Mrs Moskowitz (Eli's mother) got along very well and she always ordered us some food for when I came over.
Me and Eli weren't official so we still said that we were friends. I just hope that he doesn't just friend-zone me suddenly, but I'd doubt that he would do that.

I got to Eli's place and let myself in like usual and we watched the last episode of our favourite show. After it finished, we spoke for ages and he was teasing me about a celebrity that I had a crush on and he was doing impressions of him until...
He leaned in and we were kissing for a while until his mum said that my dad called to see if I was there.
"I'll just tell him that my son and his daughter are suddenly dating!" She said jokingly.
"We're just friends mom!"
Those four words made my heart sink. He literally friend zoned my right after kissing me. He knew something was up and I was hesitant to tell him but be pretty much forced me to tell him what was wrong.
"Okay then princess... would you like to be so lucky as to be Hawks girlfriend?"
"You mean Eli's girlfriend!" I said we both laughed and he said "so I'd that a yes?" I smiled and nodded and we spent the rest of the day laughing and watching tv together. I had never been so happy! It was official! I couldn't wait to get home and tell Miguel but I wasn't going to because i thought it would be good to tell him together along with Demetri. Either way I was so excited and couldn't wait to hang out again the next day!
