Nen was hard. That was a fact. You knew it down to the depths of your core and back. It's not like you would say anything, though. This was something you wanted to keep to yourself.
You couldn't help thinking it though, as Mr. Wing tried to explain something about... Leaves??
"(Y/N)? Are you paying attention?" Mr. Wing asked you, snapping you out of your thoughts.
"Yeah!" You answered on instinct, hoping he wouldn't detect the lie.
"Totally were," Killua said quietly, rolling his eyes. (That's totally Killua lmao)
"I heard that," you said quietly, so Wing wouldn't hear you.
"That was the point," he said back.
Man, learning nen with kids is a pain. Not anything I can do about it though.
And then there's that creep that follows them around. I think his name is Hoskat. I honestly don't know. He's weird, I can say that much. Actually I could say a lot more, but It's not worth saying. It's not like it isn't obvious.
He follows them around it's kind of like he's a fanboy. Man maybe if he'd get a date, he could shut up for five seconds and breathe. Moaning does take a lot of breath, to be honest.
"Since you aren't listening, (y/n), see me after class," Wing said, pushing his glasses up more.
"O-ok," I said nervously, kind of scared for what he would have me do.

"So um..... What am I still here for?" I asked confused.
"I just have a few questions for you," he said, looking straight at me.
"Ok, well um, ask away."
"First off, how old are you?" He asked with all seriousness.
"I'm 24," I said.
"Ok, next and last question," he said, walking over and gently setting his arm on my shoulder, "Would you mind going out for dinner with me tomorrow night?"
"I- uh- I- Y-yes. Yes, I would love too," I said shocked but regaining myself in a few seconds.
"Well, that settles it then. You may leave now if you wish," he said, sitting behind his desk once again.
As I walked out, I realized: things would be getting awkward in class. It was fine though, because I truly did like him. Things were looking out.
